Hopefully there will be. So that those who can’t adapt to change and want to continue living in the past can play it to their hearts content. Meanwhile, I’ll be playing with the features that 343i is working hard on implementing into the game to keep it exciting and fresh. When I want to play something simple , I’ll go play the classic playlist or a past Halo game.
I totally agree, have a classic playlist with its own ranking system and everyone will be happy! You have nothing to lose but alot to gain.
No, I don’t think there should be. If you don’t want to play Halo 4, then don’t play it. You can always go back and play the Anniversary playlists or Halo 3 if you want “classic” gameplay. Even if there was a classic playlist, it wouldn’t be as good as actually playing the classic games.
I agree but I really hope they don’t start making a couple versions of everything. I don’t want to see the multiplayer turn into a mess like Reach. I can never tell which version of the multiplayer I’m playing and I constantly forget what the changes are. If they ever TU Halo 4 it better be for everything…

You can always load up Halo 3 and play classic Halo (you know if anyones still playing it).
Im a HUGE fan of classic Halo and yeah in a way Im annoyed with how the games are deteriorating but I remember Reach : Classic Slayer! Poor maps dodgy settings and only a small population for the first month… then it bombed.
Halo 4 looks like a return to the old times but you don’t know how it plays yet, you don’t have any idea whats going to be the final product, you don’t know if its failed yet.
If it genuinely sucks then yeah lets all rage THEN. Right now we don’t know squat so lets not jump to concussions because look at the bright side (yeah I see one!).
No Beta = No Major testing by us, which could mean exploits… BXR… Super Jumps…
