…and I even forgot to mention the Dynamo Grenades and the lovely Grapplehook. Stunning & Boarding Vehicles in Halo has never been as easy as in Halo Infinite, due to the Sandbox & Map Design in BTB.
Judging by the Posts in the Battle Rifle Thread, you think that having 24 BRs would be a good Idea. the BRs in Halo Infinite are way more dominant than they were ever before. Not even the H2 BR was that easy to use. The BRs in Halo Infinite would be able to kill everyone across the Map, which would kill any kind of Movement & casual Gameplay.
The Maps would have to be designed even more competitive, which would kill the Purpose of BTB.
Same goes for your Posts about the AR, you’re one of the very few People who think that the AR in Halo Infinite is somehow very weak.

But if you’re serious, I’d guess that playing Ranked would be the better Option for you. No Vehicles, no AR, just BRs.
At close range its overpowered in fact. Its just not useful against vehicles or against people more than a stone’s throw away. Hence the need for precision weapons in btb
I don’t think its wilful I think 343 are inept & staffed by people that don’t have enough arena shooter experience & don’t understand of the core tenants of map design & weapon placements.
I disagree that they are encouraging vehicles to dominate the game, considering the maps are terrible for vehicle mobility & most handle badly look at the scorpion controls though its a little better now its still terrible.
Brute chopper still sucks & the banshee is a joke, hogs are still flipping upside down all the time lol.
The new BTB map is the worst for vehicles very predictable routes & both bases spawn shock & plasma nades every 30 seconds, those two combined are enough to shut down hogs & ghosts with ease & each base also spawns a shock rifle & S7 & depending on weapon rotation a hydra just outside each base.
So hardly encouraging vehicles IMO.

I only play BTB why would sbmm put me in easy games when I have high KD.
My KD is high as I play a defensive & support role I also play very anti vehicle.

If you’re getting easy matches then your MMR is low

And no, vehicles are given tremendous free reign on every map they’re on. I just had yet another match where ghosts just owned everything while I had to single handedly fight them with nothing but a useless AR. The game before it was the same story, but with a wasp. I literally had to run around one shot from cover to cover for a full minute by myself because nobody shoots at them. Nobody. Not one person ever shoots at vehicles but me. Why are people this stupid.
This is toxic, if you don’t think this gameplay model is toxic then I don’t know how you can claim to know anything at all. This is not sustainable.
I have killed 7 warthogs, 3 ghosts, a wasp, and 3 mongooses in the last 3 games combined. Why am I the only one that understands the importance of this?
Edit: 3 warthogs and a ghost that last game. My teammate splattered me with a mongoose and a ghost, proving that teammates are worthless and vehicles are stupid.
Edit: was in the process of killing another ghost and they host booted me from the game so that’s nice
100% this. The laser and tracking rockets would make a huge difference. Also, maybe buff the damage of plasma nades against vehicles. It’s absurd a sticky barely does anything.
I don’t usually agree with you but I mean…you’re kind of not wrong. I’m a pretty good driver and with an even somewhat decent gunner, I can rack up almost 30 assists a game easily.
I think bringing back the trip mine or power drain back even for BTB might be a valid option as well.
Oh 100%. I think most of the equipment for H3 would transition into this game perfectly. Excluding the grav lift because we can clamber now.
But yeah the trip mine would be pretty good in the BTB meta. If my sticky won’t do it why not give us a trip mine we can stick to vehicles that will actually do the job? Getting a vehicle with a trip mine is high risk, high reward. Or you have to get crafty to get them to drive over it.
The solution is just to polish up the weapon spawns. When your side gets a bulldog and a needler instead of a heatwave and a sentinel beam, vehicles suddenly become unstoppable
yh vehicles are way too hard to kill. I’ve seen so many players go on sprees in wasps and ghosts. Skewer is the primo anti vehicle weapon and needs 2 shots to kill a ghost, with a century long reload and slow projectile speed it’s pretty weak. Plus nerfing plasma pistol and dynamos not affecting air vehicles easily. Icing on the cake is you can cheese the grapple jack by jumping out game is so unbalanced when vehicles are involved
I will eat humble pie & say the skewer is underpowered in regards to ghost/wasp, at the time of previous posting in this thread I had not encountered ghosts or wasps not being destroyed in one hit they must have been pre damaged I have now encountered ghost/wasp tanking skewer & that’s not on IMO.
Still fine with hog taking two I know you don’t agree with that but we will have to differ

It also kills everything super fast and has near CE splatter physics. I have run into the back of it sitting still trying to hijack it and gotten splattered before. Ghost is definitely broken
Possibly but when taking into account lead & drop with skewer I know I am just not wanting to miss so plan shot around its centre mass.
As for ghost, hitting it with skewer & getting a hit marker pffft!
Skewer needs a reload buff as does the hydra.
I think the thing the skewer needs most is more force of impact. In the early footage it wouldn’t necessarily kill a warthog with one shot but it would send it flying backwards or sideways etc like a repulser hit it. We need that back. Being able to do significant damage while also grinding momentum to a halt would be perfect
I accidently betrayed a teamy today on the ghost, I never seen them but all did was a tiny move backwards & splat!
Then whenever a teammate on one gets near me I get desync stutter stuck to it & either die or escape with no health.
Gonno be taking a holiday from this game soon, Am sick moaning about it!
Another thing that should be done with skewer is give its projectile more visual input to the user, that way you can clearly see if you missed & learn from that.
ATM there are times I’m like did I wiff that or did the server wiff that? There are definitely times this weapon fails to register hits, of all the weapons this is the one with highest hit reg fail apart from plasma rifle in CQ.
