There are no UNSC flying vehicles in Halo4 MM

We’ve seen 9 out of the 10 maps now, 5 of those 10 are currently BTB maps, the final map to be revealed will most likely be a small symmetrical map. Meaning that not a single UNSC flying vehicle will make an appearance in Halo 4’s matchmaking, until possible forge maps are added (if the falcon or hornet are even flyable vehicles in the game)

Falcon has been confirmed. Hornet is rumoured

I said this a while ago … no more drivable vehicles remains

sadly if we couldn’t pilot the Pelican in MP then we’ve nothing but the Banshee

I really doubt 343 would leave the Air warfare element out of Halo 4 matchmaking.

even if so there is still the possibility of it being in DLC or forged maps later on

> Falcon has been confirmed. Hornet is rumoured

Falcon was only seen in a Campaign image as something flying in the background near the Infinity.

Keep in mind, just because we haven’t seen the vehicle yet, doesn’t mean it won’t be on the final build of the map, Exile at PAX had an entirely different vehicle layout apparently, the Scorpion isn’t going to be on the map at all in the final build.

I’ve been wondering, where has it been confirmed at?

In the unbiased facts page.

You know? I’m kind of OK with this. The Hornet in Halo 3 was overpowered, until they released the Snow Camo version of it for Avalanche, in which case it was terribly underpowered, like poking someone to death.

The Falcon in Reach was basically a flying triple kill machine, and I don’t think it would really fit in all that well with how Halo 4 plays I just can’t see it playing that well on Ragnarok, Exile, Longbow, or Meltdown - the airspace seems too narrow in these maps for the Falcon to really work properly. I think the Banshee is pretty sufficient.

NEVERMIND

But okay, I still see no source for that info.

You can see hornets flying below the Infinity.

Yeah, I really liked the Falcon, they’d be idiots to not bring it back, we finally had a UNSC flyer that wasn’t over powered and was awesome!

Those are Falcons. That doesn’t mean they are in MP though.

it’s not underpowered if you know how to use it wink

but either way, i feel like both the hornet and the falcon should come back

the falcon, along with all halo 4’s new vehicle ARMOR it will make a nice team-based air vehicle

while the hornet will basically be the air version of the mantis, powerful in the right hands, but not too powerful

a suggested nerf for hornet missiles: make the only allowed to fire when fully locked onto a vehicle, meaning that they cannot fire on infantry
miniguns vs infantry is just fine

I said this in my first post on the topic, just wanted to show people the Falcon was indeed in the game.

Oh, yes, very overpowered indeed.

I think the last map is called Barren and it’s similar to Sandtrap.

I’m sorry, but how do you know that? Do you just assume that every map that has been shown so far has had exactly the correct vehicles and weapons? I don’t seem to remember the binary rifle on Haven the first time I saw it… They could just tweak the spawns on maps that have been shown so far. I don’t see how you can just assume this without any actual proof. They could have a set of all new Promethean vehicles (I can hope can’t I?)that they haven’t even shown us yet, don’t assume you know everything about Halo 4 from a few off screen PAX videos…

What Map is Meltdown??
