Please stop saying that there are kill streaks in Halo 4! There is an ordnance system based on medals. To call in Ordnance you dont need to stay alive and get a spree and you dont even need to get a kill. The Ordnance meter is filled by Medals. Yes there are medals for killing enemies, but you dont need to kill to fill the ordnance meter! You can get assist and assist sprees and maybe other types of medals that dont require a kill! Please stop Using the Term “Kill Streak” Spread this Info!
It’s more like point streaks which, in my opinion, are better than kill streaks. And plus, it’s only in Infinity Slayer, so we won’t have them in any other gametype.

Exactly! Many people on this forum dont understand that Infinity Slayer is only one playlist! And they also dont understand how Infinity Slayer works.

Well some people take that in the wrong way…
You need to call it Ordnance Drops so new comers to the forum aren’t confused.
Yeah I don’t like pointstreaks as much as I don’t like killstreaks. What was that a few months ago where everybody was on the same page about not rewarding the better players with unfair advantages like killstreaks?

Yeah, everyone knows it, but calling it kill streak isn’t the right name for it, and can cause confusion and piss a lot of people off because then they thing “Oh hey, 343i copied COD, and put kill streaks into Halo 4.” And cause more rage over it.

It is in CoD, but I don’t see the big deal with that. It’s a problem because it gives me a gun to get 20 kills with because I just got 20 kills.
So I’ll contradict the name Kill Streaks for both parts of the word. (Even though other people will still call it that anyways)
KILL. Seeing as you don’t actually have to kill anybody to get the Drops, I don’t think this should be associated with them. You can get assist medals or even distraction medals, which doesn’t even involve shooting anything.
STREAK. So, for some reason, some people actually don’t even know what Ordinance Drops are not reset after death. It’s essentially not a streak because you can die many times and get many different medals in order to receive the drops, so I don’t know why people keep mentioning that you need to stay alive. You Don’t.
So, I’ll call them Ordinance Drops, I don’t know what you will call them.

The OP sumerized it pretty well. Not kill streaks and is limited to a certain gametype.

Sure there kill streaks but they dont reward you for anything
