Ranked multiplayer above Platinum is nearly unplayable without a mic. Please somehow add an option to search for only mic’d, or un mic’d, players. I know everyone who wears a mic will appreciate that as an option.

I realise you’ve just seen the other thread and commented so you’ve probably seen similar arguments and seen the way the conversation went.
Yes, a search/filter for people who feel the same wouldn’t hurt anyone and would be appreciated by people such as yourself - much better than being forced (hence the like).
But, saying above platinum is “nearly unplayable” - it’s not. Most successful streamers and even pros that are playing solo do not use a mic. Most only do so when playing with their team. They’re top onyx and not a word.
Not knocking communication - the filter idea is a good one, it’s just not true to say it’s nearly unplayable with there being a dedicated solo/duo rank.

And what about language options? You should also have the possibilty to filter for 1 or more languages. My native language is italian. Do you expect, that everyone that uses a mic speaks your native language?

I know XBOX let’s you create looking for groups, use it in Destiny all the time for pug raids. This is the way.
This also lets you vet people and require certain rank, language, etc. If it was in game like you suggested, it will not work.
Not sure if Steam has this feature, but if you are on PC I assume you can still access this feature.
I’ll have to try that. I still think a search option would work.
