Theory: What if we get the store items in Season 2?

So right now we have the Reach Battlepass with mostly Reach theme collectables in it. There are also a handful of Mark VII gear in there. But most of the Mk. VII gear is in the store, priced at $20.

What if that changes after season 1?

Season 2 will see a new battlepass with new items and likely new store items. What if the free track in Season 2 is the paid Mk. VII armor and the BP essentially acts like a “pay for early access to armor”? Basically pay now to have next season’s armor or wait 6 month and get if for free/cheap.

They said all unlocks are single source so I’d doubt it.

Who knows. I personally don’t really care about them. I saw what I wanted in the season pass.
The outrage over the store is justified mostly, but it’s a bit overblown. I don’t think there is a winning scenario for 343 in the situation there short of making everything free.

I honestly am a little exhausted by it all. If it is in season 2 I’m sure someone somewhere will Light up their torches and grab the pitch forks anyway.

That would garner the same back lash as all the other underhanded things the game has done or so I’d expect

I really hope for their sake that’s not the case and I doubt it is. People would lose their minds if they spent money on armor without being informed it would be free in the relatively near future.
