Theory:Other Spartan II's in new Halo Trilogy

So my friends and I, after watching the Scanned live action trailer and the episodes of Forward Unto Dawn(FUD) that has released, are starting to develop a theory that this world, Requiem, is another shield world of sorts, or it has access to it. I believe that is the major change in direction 343i was talking about when they said this trilogy would go in a whole new direction. How better to show John’s humanity than to bring back his family, the other Spartan II’s and Spartan III’s(The REAL ones, not the ones in Halo:Reach, which John doesn’t even know they exist) that are still alive after the events that took place at the end of Ghost of Onyx.
I think since they chose to show the other Spartan II’s in the Scanned trailer, then subsequently showed Fred 104 in the 3rd episode of FUD, then John sends a message to Kelly in ep. 4, that means they could be including them in this trilogy at some point. What if the Legendary ending in one of the games was John finding the portal to the place where the other Spartans are located?
Any thoughts?

Onyx and Requiem both being shield worlds mean they are connected and relavant to each other. I’m not exactly sure if the Master Chief will ever see them again, but it’s definitely a possibility! :stuck_out_tongue:

Requiem is a shield world.

But no, I don’t think so.

I think that mayyyybe they will show off a Spartan-III or two. But the main focus is Spartan-IVs. So I think thats the majority, if not all that we see.

I’m 99% sure that the other Spartans were saved from Onyx though…

They mention them getting off of the shield world in Glasslands yet fail to mention them in Thursday War.

Edit: I would have thought they would have been on the Infinity, but it doesn’t seem like it.

I would like to see the Spartan team from the UNSC Spirit of Fire make an appearance (Halo Wars). As of this moment, we still have no conclusive evidence of that ships whereabouts. There are 3 Spartans on there.

I think everyone kind of agrees that everyone in Halo wars dies.

They’re all in cryo-sleep with the exception of Sergeant Forge, because he is actually dead.

Except the Spartans arn’t in the Onyx shield world(Now known as Trevelyan) anymore, read the Kilo-Five Trilogy.

I forgot they transitioned the shield world back to normal space there. Well I guess it was a theory after all.
I don’t think they would’ve been on the Infinity because it was embarking on a peaceful journey, but at the same time, Spartan IV’s are on it, so who knows…
The Spartan II’s are most likely on Earth still after the debriefing in Sydney or are back to quelling any insurrectionist forces that are still around after the Great War. I am not sure if they would’ve volunteered to go on a peaceful mission on the Infinity. But there is a chance later on if after the events of Halo 4, a transmission is sent to Earth, the others could show. At the moment(before Halo 4) everyone thinks John and Cortana are MIA.

I’m pretty sure that the surviving Spartan II’s and III’s that made it off Onyx at the end of Glasslands were given the chance to join the IV program. So we’ll probably see some of them in Spartan Ops if nothing else (maybe future Halo titles, you never know…) Since Linda-058 is my favorite of the S-II’s in the books, I certainly hope so. And War Games takes place on the Infinity, wouldn’t at least some of the Spartans be on it?

And Requiem could be a shield world, or just a Forerunner planet where you-know-who ended up. But Glasslands hinted that a lot of Forerunner worlds were linked by portals so there might be a connection there.

Side note: Kelly’s name referenced in FUD might just have been an easter egg to fans, since most of the S-II’s were still alive and active during the Insurrection. Just a thought.

I think it is very significant that Fred and Kelly were in FUD. People who haven’t read the books or played the games might not even know there are other Spartans.
There has got to be a connection with FUD appearances and the new Halo Trilogy.
I also forgot that in Thursday War, it was confirmed that Halsey was stationed on the Infinity.

*I meant to say The Thursday War regarding the portals… my bad. Because possible spoiler Jul 'Mdama finds out about Requiem at the end of the book and I imagine that’s going to play a big part in the story of Halo 4.

And you might be right about FUD… but there’s also a new Spartan on the Infinity by the name of Serena-032 (that’s me) who is ready to kick some general Covie and Forerunner -Yoink!-.

Is it the 6th yet?

You’re a Spartan IV… and I’m afraid it’s only just Halloween my friend.

They wanted to show Master Chiefs human side, adding old squad members like Fred, Kelly, Naomi, etc. would definitely help.

But I doubt in Halo 4. Maybe in Halo 5.

It was also said that Halsey was to remain at an ONI Research Facility until Captain Osman sees fit. So it is also probable that she, after the Infinity was completed, was reassigned to the said facility. But hey, she is Halsey, she does whatever the -Yoink- she wants to.

I wouldn’t think it would be this game, but maybe one heck of a cliffhanger in H5, then H6 has them reunited to face whatever is in that game.

I am right there with you on the Infinity. Next week can’t come soon enough.

I would love any spartans to return, especially Jun. He could tell John of Noble team’s sacrifice to transport cortana and how he was also saved by them.

For all the effort they put into building up how special the spartans 2s are, and giving us other unique characters that master chief cares about, Fred Linda Kelly, I hope at some point they integrate them into the games. Since they play prominently in a number of books, it would help increase cohesiveness between game and written cannon. Also it would be one hell of a welcome surprise for those who put time into reading the books.

Amen! I think it would be a welcome addition to the Halo game saga. I personally love the books, maybe even more than the games, maybe just a little, but this is mainly because of all the rich content and characters of the books. To see Blue Team be reunited on screen though… I would cry a little, maybe lol. Tears of extreme joy

Its quite relevant that since all the focus has been or the Spartan IVs and Infinity , 343i is gonna completely ignore Spirit Of Fire and the remaining tidbits of the Spartan IIIs.
Captain Cutter and the Spartans aboard the Spirit Of Fire may never make an appearance in the forthcoming games, I fear.

“Nothing personal, just business.”
