Theory on why infection/flood isn't out on launch

No where did I say that I’m just pointing out how unfair it would be against infected who are handicapped with. A sword and no shields

You guys obviously don’t care about infection if you think the bulldog is a perfect fit for the game mode

Like the only way it would be fair for the infected is the bulldog has one clip and that’s it and that would be a stupid change

They probably busy recording the new Flood sounds. WOLLLLLLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Infected could start with grapple hook like @Custom_Physics said. That might be fun.

yes, but after they reload you are essentially screwed.

Overall though, its not the end of the world. multiple ways to make infection work. I think its a bit overblown here.

Oh so they can grapple to a wave of bullets

Like I agree the grapple hook would be fun for infection but it doesn’t solve the bulldog not fitting for the game modes default settings

And keep in mind survivors like to stick in groups

In old infected I often got wrecked no matter what strategy I employed. It will happen no matter how the balance is done. I think it could work with possibly infected starting with infinite grapple hook.

Maybe not, really we’d have to try it out to find out what happens in the real world rather than imagining it. Like science says to do. We might be surprised it works out fine.

I used to play zombies manually in Halo 2. Can we setup a customs match with the rules and manually switch teams? Like one team has no shields, or is that not possible atm?

Something tells me you guys tend to go afk or leave when infected or alpha zombie

If you don’t see the glaring flaw of the bulldog being a survivor weapon

That’s not a constructive comment like I’m trying to provide for your thread.

I think infection (at its core) works better the more players that are in it, so 24 player infection is a must, and it has to be balanced towards the uninfected having some chance of actually winning, if infected win every single time it makes for a super boring match in my opinion. Alpha zombies in Halo Reach was (in my opinion) the best infection mode because it was balanced, no stupid OP infected that were almost impossible to kill, lots of matches could end with all survivors surviving.

My dude I have pointed out multiple times how the bulldog doesn’t fit the game mode and you guys ignore it or assume I said the bulldog is better which I have never said hell I like the bulldog but it does not fit infection default settings

Dataminers already found stuff for it. Much of what they have found so far is scheduled for the next few months, I’m guessing we will see Infection soon.

You completely ignored my question as to whether or not we could actually test it in the real world with the current custom games settings. I have not played one custom games match yet, so I don’t know how it works at the moment. You just keep asserting bulldog will be bad without actually testing it. You have a hypothesis, test it.

Agreed also keep in mind whenever they made a survivor shotgun variant it was still a pump action shotgun with more ammo I wonder why as they could’ve made it semi auto

Like I said the bulldog doesn’t fit the game modes default settings

Bulldog being too OP for Infection can be nerfed by having less ammo in Infection, but even the Sidekick shoots wicked fast, so I’m not seeing a huge issue with rate of fire, since with slide, thrusters and maybe grapple, the infected will be the fastest and dodgiest in any Halo game ever, and you’ll need to shoot faster to keep up with them

And we won’t know the balance until it is actually played. I agree. Thrusters could help too.

I don’t need to as the weapon stats are already out in the public and you can easily see how it would be a -Yoink!- show if it’s in infections default settings the only way it could fit is if they lowered the ammo to the point where we get 1 or 2 clips or added a different variant of the gun which at that point would ignore a perfect opportunity to bring back the og pump shotgun

Do you know how many scientists thought their hypothesis to be true with utmost confidence only to be disproven when they actually tested it? I see no reason to discuss this further as you just keep asserting you’re right when you might be wrong.

Go ahead ignore facts I’m done responding to you specifically
