I think infection (at its core) works better the more players that are in it, so 24 player infection is a must, and it has to be balanced towards the uninfected having some chance of actually winning, if infected win every single time it makes for a super boring match in my opinion. Alpha zombies in Halo Reach was (in my opinion) the best infection mode because it was balanced, no stupid OP infected that were almost impossible to kill, lots of matches could end with all survivors surviving.
My dude I have pointed out multiple times how the bulldog doesn’t fit the game mode and you guys ignore it or assume I said the bulldog is better which I have never said hell I like the bulldog but it does not fit infection default settings
Dataminers already found stuff for it. Much of what they have found so far is scheduled for the next few months, I’m guessing we will see Infection soon.
You completely ignored my question as to whether or not we could actually test it in the real world with the current custom games settings. I have not played one custom games match yet, so I don’t know how it works at the moment. You just keep asserting bulldog will be bad without actually testing it. You have a hypothesis, test it.
Agreed also keep in mind whenever they made a survivor shotgun variant it was still a pump action shotgun with more ammo I wonder why as they could’ve made it semi auto
Like I said the bulldog doesn’t fit the game modes default settings
Bulldog being too OP for Infection can be nerfed by having less ammo in Infection, but even the Sidekick shoots wicked fast, so I’m not seeing a huge issue with rate of fire, since with slide, thrusters and maybe grapple, the infected will be the fastest and dodgiest in any Halo game ever, and you’ll need to shoot faster to keep up with them
And we won’t know the balance until it is actually played. I agree. Thrusters could help too.
I don’t need to as the weapon stats are already out in the public and you can easily see how it would be a -Yoink!- show if it’s in infections default settings the only way it could fit is if they lowered the ammo to the point where we get 1 or 2 clips or added a different variant of the gun which at that point would ignore a perfect opportunity to bring back the og pump shotgun
Do you know how many scientists thought their hypothesis to be true with utmost confidence only to be disproven when they actually tested it? I see no reason to discuss this further as you just keep asserting you’re right when you might be wrong.
Go ahead ignore facts I’m done responding to you specifically
Facts? OK how many infected matches have you played in Halo Infinite with the bulldog and other abilities?
Go ahead explain how a rapid fire semi auto shotgun that can one shot un shielded enemies is balanced in a game mode where one side is unshielded with forced melee weapons
I’m all ears it’s obvious you don’t play tons of infection matchmaking
Can custom games be setup to accommodate a manual infected mode? Only way for us to find out the real balance. Do you think 343 just hypothesizes about their weapon balance or do they gather thousands of points of data through flights and betas?
Custom games is busted and anyone with common sense can just look at the stats of the bulldog and see how unfair it would be for infected as the game mode tends to have 2-3 infected at round starts also survivors tend to be in groups which negates the reloading excuse
If 343 didn’t see an issue with the bulldog being in infections default settings we would’ve had infection by now there’s a reason why infection isn’t in yet and that’s because they know the bulldog doesn’t fit in the game mode
You’re kinda’ right I don’t care but the reload is long so.
In that case please leave the thread as this is a infection oriented topic
I just feel like the playerbase needs to pick a side. Bulldog too good or Bulldog too bad.
This has nothing to do with the bulldog being too good or too bad the thing one shots unshielded enemies and is semi auto with quick rate of fire stop trying to make it the focus of a INFECTION topic
