Well I’m sure this has been said by someone before, but I haven’t seen it so I’m making a topic on it.
Everyone seems to think the symbol at the end of the trailer is that of the Didacts. But what if it being upside down has significance? Maybe the symbol for the Didact upside down happens to be the symbol for Faber (The Master Builder). This is possible because there is no official symbol for The Master Builder, and he is more or less the opposite of the Didact, so naturally the theory makes some sense.
Also it would make sense because Faber never like humanity.
Finally someone who read the books the orb that appears behind the Chief is a Cryptum could be fabers and could explain how he got off the halo ring before it was activated and it has a life support system so one forerunner could pilot it while he goes on life support to heal wounds and injuries.
A master builder in charge of prometheans? Was that how the system worked? Judging from the promethean knights i have to question that.
There may be signifigance or even a plottwist. But the symbol does rotate upwards to be the didact’s symbol.
And it was upright during the final terminal. And 343’s ominous msg refering to the didact.
But i guess we’ll have to wait.

In 100,000+ years I’m sure Faber would have found a way to control the Promethean AI
Besides Faber was the one in charge of creating Halo’s i think he can control a few Ai’s

I have a feeling there will be a deeper signifigance to the promethean knights.
Since Forerunners were capable of planting a life force into machinery (i.e. 343) we might come across former forerunners. The reason i bring this up is that who evers voice that was.seemed.robotic somehow. And it sounded samiliar to the monitor GS spoke to in the second terminal

It likely has something to do with rampancy. Keep in mind it is probably an AI shaped after the Didact’s mind, like 343 was for that human.
