Theory on Cortana and the new series of Halo games

Ok I’ve been thinking over time and came up with a radical theory for the next three games. 343 industry’s said that Cortana is going to play a big role in these games. Now bare with me when I say this theory.

I am theorizing that we will end up rescuing Halsey from prison in one of the halo games. Ok well after some more fighting this new threat Cortana is finally coming close to her end. Well John being attached to her so badly gives her to Halsey to see what she can do. Halsey begins to work.

Now my theory is that Halsey will end up cloning a female human body from herself and multiple other female spartans who are alive. After she is done and the cloned body is in the tube Halsey transfers all data from Cortana about halo and whatever else isn’t needed so she wouldn’t fry the bodies brain. Halsey then transfers Cortana to the body and takes it out of the tube.

If you remember Cortana experienced our sense of living when she was with the gravemind in one of the books. (Can’t remember which one.)

This would end with John defeating the new threat and finally having a chance to settle down and guess what? Now he has a partner to do it with. Happy ending for everybody!

I know really out there but you never know lol.

If this doesn’t happen then Cortana will probably end up like that fully sentient AI the Forerunners had. Don’t remember his name either sadly lol.

Interesting idea. I hadn’t considered Cortana in-flesh. If it were to happen, it may not actually happen during Halo 4, as it seems likely we’ll see Cortana in Halo 5 and/or 6.

Do you mean “monitors”? Or perhaps you meant a Contender-class AI like Mendicant Bias?

No I mean that one that controlled all the halo rings. all 12 of them before five where lost. She could end up being like the galaxy’s defense network AI or something. Whatever that Forerunner AI guy was.

He was the top AI or whatever lol.

if cortana does get a body i dont think it would be a cloned one. i could see her getting some kind of cybernetic body like somthing from ghost in the shell. one that would be able to house all the vast infromation that cortana has about the halo and ever thing elses that makes her who she is.
