Okay, if this in the wrong spot pose move it as I can’t find the off-topic flood thread but maybe you guys love halo too much, I dunno. But a lot of you all love outer space and science and I have a theory that is probably tested and failed but just curious anyway.
My Theory
So you all know outer space is an airless vacuum that’s freezing cold but the universe is made of atoms. You see everyone in movies explaining wormholes, black holes, time jumps, etc in many different ways. On that stands out the most is the pencil poking a whole in paper and folding it to show you get there faster. You destroyed the atoms in that and also moved them. So essentially in a bigger scale, wouldn’t in outer space splitting atoms in one spot and another in a line as a rapid succession plus moving them at the same time do the same as the paper. Probably, but how do you move splitting atoms. That’s the question isn’t it. You’d need to contain the atoms that make them not explode.
So, I’m not close but its really bothering me thinking this could actually work but I have no money to test it.
