since the armor color is harder to see against Halo’s more darker map aesthetics compared to a brighter color like red.
And the point of this is?..

From the maps I’ve seen in the H5 beta, it looks like the blue team has a slight advantage?
I doubt blue will really have an advantage.

And they don’t in half the other Halo games?

How many years now has it always been like this with the Red vs Blue team? some maps they will blend in more other they won’t but in all honesty, if your contrast/blacks are up that deep on your TV where blue blends into black; I’m not sure how you are able to see anything.
I think they thought of this, and I doubt there will be much distinguishable difference in the end. The whole point of the multiplayer was for balance… why would they overlook armor colour?

Oh, I read it as Blue Team (Chief, Linda, Kelly, Fred). Sorry about that!
I think both teams’ colors are actually quite saturated, so I don’t see this being an issue.
Wasn’t a problem before…
They showed the statistics from the beta being about 50 50 on which color team won the match
I’ve always felt red being the color it is, that in halo I have a better chance winning rounds. I wonder kinda like how cops pull over more red cars and that it can stir aggression
So Red to me Wins more I think
Well we’ve had 5 Halo games (ODST doesn’t count since it had no multiplayer) where the blue team has stuck out like a sore thumb on virtually every multiplayer map, so if it really is red teams turn to have a disadvantage based upon the colour of their armour, then so be it.
I think the blue is bright enough it will not be an issue.
It was only slightly an issue in the beta on the remix of empire (can’t think of the name for some reason…). The rest of the maps didn’t appear to give them any major advantages for blending in with the environment. I think we will see that adjustments have been made so that both teams stick out just as much across all backgrounds.
I don’t get this poll lol
Believe it or not, OP isn’t nuts (despite what the polls are showing.) Red is wildly more visual. I have less trouble on the headshots when I’m on Blue Team fighting red as opposed to the other way around. I’ve also noticed that while playing on red team, hiding to snipe is nearly impossible, and people seem to get more headshots on me and just notice me more in general. I think there is a little something to it, but nothing crazy. I mean I still have won and lost as either team. Ultimately skill and luck are still the deciding factors
No and yes since I saw something that explained that H5G was designed so that red and blue are equally distinct against the backgrounds.
I used to be heavily into MLG in Halo 2 and my team always preferred Blue Team because of this very reason. They have always been harder to see than Red.
I don’t see either team having an advantage because of color. Its all about skill, #RedLivesMatter
Studies show that red is seen as more agressive so red teams naturally have an advantage in shooters.
