theory about spartan op's

Ok we play as master chief in the campaign then we play as a spartan 4 in spartan ops which takes place 6 months after the events of the campaign so by that time master chief will most likely some where engaging or taking part in certian event that will could be taking place in the story of halo 5, so heres what i was thinking what ever happens in the story of spartan op’s that could take tie in with a small part of the story of halo 5.

Certian moments in the story of spartan op’s could be referenced or mentioned some where in the campaign of halo 5, for example in spartan op’s we have a mission to destroy a facility or building that was a certain amount of importance to the enemy, that could play a part in halo 5 but if it does i would assume it would be a very small part as it would be a spoiler if it was a big part, so it would be worthy of a small mention in halo 5.

So for example theres a cutscene in halo 5 and an officer of some sort is talking to another officer or even MC and one of the officers is talking about that operation that was carried out to destroy that “facility” or “building” and that could be a small relevance to what the current situation is in that cutscene in halo 5 is.

now im not saying this is the only purpose of the story of spartan op’s but it could be invovled and help shape the story for halo 5 even if its just as little as a reference or a mention.

what do you think?

quite possible…

I just get a mental image of someone looking over at cheif fast asleep in his cryo chamber and motioning to send spartans in his place…

It’s very likely. I think the underlying purpose of Spartan-Ops is to allow you to have your own created character while still being able to play as the chief. They took this idea and put a fun twist on it. I think Spartan-Ops will definitely succeed and there will be many more seasons to come.

yeah i think spartan op’s will be very successful.

thats a very good thought 343 could be doing that

i think they chose to give us a second campaign because A. its -Yoinking!- amazing and B> so many people liked having there spartan in reachs campaign

> i think they chose to give us a second campaign because A. its -Yoinking!- amazing and B> so many people liked having there spartan in reachs campaign

well yes and also give the story some relevance to the main story at the same time.

> i think they chose to give us a second campaign because A. its -Yoinking!- amazing and B> so many people liked having there spartan in reachs campaign

Heck yeah!
But that whole thing about Spartan Ops leading to H5 makes total sense, op.

It’s possible. There will be 50 missions. So probably toward the end, it good give hints about Halo 5.

I do believe the developers said that Spartan Ops Seasons would help bridge the gap between Halo 4 and 5.

I just know that the last Spartan Ops mission will be special. It’s going to have something, I just know it. Whether it is officially the last one in Season 1, or if they make a season 2 and it is the last one.

true but i think the real reason for spartan ops is, 1 well frankie said it himself (somewhere dont remember were) one of the biggest pulls in early halo was the faceless hero (chief) which allowed you to put yourself in his shoes, 2 now there develpoing chief more as a character, which decreases the effects of 1, but the success of reaches armory plays a big part as well

And there it is! Chief was supposed to be US! You, me, anybody (except a lady). Then they start blurting stuff in the books about his name, John, and his appearance in his adolescence! How can you immerse anymore as the Chief.
Noble 6 and the earlier multiplayer Spartans were the only means to be your own Spartan, which wasn’t as fun. So thanks 343, for finally giving ME a Spartan.

Spartan ops is probaly the best addition to date when it comes to Halo.

while i agree with both ur points i cant tell if you like the fact that there developing chief but im looking forward to it and very excited to by my spartan

thats a very good theory after reading that i can honestly see spartan op’s story playing a bigger part than what i first anticipated.
