I know a lot of people are upset with not playing DLC maps or certain playlists and the lack of people playing playlists in general. So I decided to try and come up with a theoretical solution.
First split the slayer playlists into 3 different playlists:
4v4 Legendary BRs (Original Halo settings, BR and AR start)
on Abandon, Adrift, Haven, Solace, Landfall, Skyline, Vertigo, Pitfall
I feel having the best mid-range rifle and no AA’s on these small maps would make for good gameplay and less chaos. I realize there are 3 DLC maps in this playlist, but with it being smaller there is a greater chance all players will have the maps.
6v6 Team Slayer (Choice of starting rifle/AA)
on Complex, Settler, Harvest, Wreckage, Monolith, Perdition, Outcast, Daybreak
This playlist would be DLC REQUIRED. It being 6v6 helps have enough players to fill the bigger DLC maps and some of the smaller ones all in one playlist.
8v8 Big Team Infinity Slayer (Complete freedom of loadouts)
on Exile, Longbow, Meltdown, Ragnarok, Vortex, Shatter
Since big team is usually complete randomness anyway players would have everything at their disposal in Infinity Slayer. Also Shatter would be the only DLC in this playlist as it is the largest map and probably needs more than 6v6 for gameplay.
Finally I would combine CTF, Ricochet and Action Sack all into one playlist:
5v5 Team Objective
on any map except maybe some of the bigger ones
I figure the first two voting slots could be filled by CTF/Oddball/KOTH/Ricochet playlists and then the last slot could be the action sack playlists. This would combine 3 different playlists into 1. This should help condense the population as the overall plan would make 6 playlists into 5.
