Hey ladies and gents, so I wanna start off by saying I am a die hard halo player, I think the halo games just got better and better as time passed. Halo reach was by far my favorite as it had a lot of new aspects BUT also bc the armor.
Halo 4 brought a lot to the table, sprint +armor ability, the S.A.W. And other drear weapons, and also the prometheans which I love simply because the uniqueness of them. But one of the few things that ruined the game for me were this, the armor, and Don’t just mean the spartan armor. To be honest I think the new armor looks covenant, it’s too trippy and take the sifi too far with it, in halo reach the armor all had rustic looks, retro, it showed humans were intelegent and far in development but weren’t all knowing having trippy af armor. In reach you looked at every part of the armor, shoulders, helm, chest, everything, now it is just the helm. The visors also annoyed me as it has turned into a box of craeola crayons, “sun drop” and stuff. I liked the gold, blue, silver and maybe add some more but nothing too much, also the BA discription made it all the cooler. The armor all just has lost it’s touch for me and I would highly sugest looking back to the reach armor. Also the system As currency was cooler then just achievements to get a visor,(my opinion) as for covenant the armor all is the same it looks, reach had levels of eleit for example, I could call out a zealot or a field marshal but now it’s just all the same, it’s the same problem as with human armor.
so just tell me what you think, should armor go back to how it was or stay in the futuristic form.
It should be futuristic, as in Halo 4: the GEN-II armor types, but with some damage as in Reach. Like the paint is damaged and you see the bare metal underneath it. Plus you should add the extras like in Reach.

Halo 3 > Reach
I also think they should progress back to the reach style, way more versatile and I’m still a huge fan of the classic looks. Anyone else think armor effects should be brought back too?
I like the futuristic look. I hope i can keep my FOTUS armor. lol. but i do hope it keeps the classic looks
they should make the new armor more noticable to other players so they can see what youve acheived
I really hope they provide vast amounts of new customization.
I also think reach had the best armor, any new halo game definitely needs some add-ons like reach had. for example the extra ammo or knives. to me nothing says I’m ready for war like being covered with ammo and guns.
I really REALLY hate the armor in Halo 4. I loved Reach’s armor sooo damn much. But the Halo 5 trailers show Locke and the multiplayer spartans in armor similar to Halo 4 unfortunately. It is a shame. Halo reach’s armor was amazing looking.
I rarely hear someone praise Halo:Reach. Refreshing 
Each Halo has brought something good, sometimes it gets lost in the next addition, but i agree , armor should imo be something that identifies ones achievements. It makes it more badass on the field. Having something special on ones character is important if ya want to keep players attached to the game itself ( destiny failed miserably at this )
