one of the biggest complaints from players was how the event was working and now in the final stretch, did you like the event? is the samurai armor now to your liking?
Personally, I didnāt really care for it. Not because of the armor being not canon or unhalo like. Just wasnāt interested in it. Itās not really progressing me through the main battle pass at a reasonable pace so I donāt really see a need to do it.

Nope. Locked behind a time wall and forced to progress it in one particular mode that is a coin toss. Them correcting the issues they caused is them quite literally doing the bare minimum to correct their toxic business practices.

For a free event itās not too bad and itās improved since the first time round, but thereās still that FOMO on stuff if you donāt play regularly or get handed stupid challenges.

The āeventā was just fiesta. I mean not exactly a ground breaking thing these days. The armor is amusing, but I paid for the BP and I would rather use the things that I unlocked through that for now.
Then only nice thing for me about the event was the extra challenges. With some strategic swaps and stacking, I was able to go 20BP levels in 2 days. I expect to hit 100 tomorrow.
Could not play with my brother at all this week. He is on PC and could not connect to a single game. He said that there was lots of people on the steam forums with the same issue since the event started.

These are not enough to attract an audience for a live service gameā¦
If this game drips feeds two new maps every other month or season then itās a wrap

Your username is how I felt Sunday night deciding to grind out the weekly capstone challenge by playing 7 fiesta games. It feels like a drag just to boot up the game.

The Tenrai set is growing on me, but when the day comes I run out of challenge swaps these events are going feel like trying to swallow razer blades.
Even though Iāve unlocked quite a bit of it, Iām not a fan of the Yoroi core. I donāt know why, it just seems really tacky to me.

itās an event based on fiestaā¦ i aināt against itā¦ but fiesta? i love the mode and all, but it really kills the fun having to progress the same EXACT WAY for another pass, and just having to do specific thingsā¦ in fiesta, ya know, a mode where itās meant to be chaotic and not at all specific?
getting a killjoy in it whiles is possible, is, like the mode, complete random. i love the mode, but event challenges tied to a random mode gets annoying real quick.
alsoā¦ the event is not at all unique. it just feels like iām progressing the same as if it never existed at all. just with more challenges tied to 1 specific modeā¦ also itās annoying, like, yay, i have to wait a full MONTH to make any more progressā¦ woop de do. like i understand being pacient, ya know, have to continue it like every other week or so. but a full month? thatās too long, especially when thereās nothing else happening
as for the cosmeticsā¦ personaly i donāt mind the yori armor. not my cup of tea, but it keeps with the halo asthetic, so i can live with it. reminds me of the hyaboosa armor

I would rather that the XP boosters work on this event when you have the main battle-pass completed.
I would rather that challenges just boosted your progress up the tiers and NOT be the only way to progress. ESPECIALLY since challenges were glitched on the last two days, preventing me from playing any challenges except for āplay a match for 50 exp.ā

I want to see a my little pony cross over now.
Iām not that bothered with customisation but do the like weapon skins and those buried in this event seem quite nice. So Iām grinding for those specifically really - I donāt really care how I appear to other people but I can see the gun!
Love it. Free earnable armor that have challenges (not too difficult at all) in a fun wacky playlist like fiesta is great.
Shame theres no cross cores. Or even cross visors, coatings.
Side note: Iām hoping tactical event isnt put into swat as an event. FAR to many cheaters in there and input matters alot.

- The rewards are okay, but instead of dragging the event out, it wouldāve been nice to get more challenges to unlock more items with.
- The mode doesnāt make sense for the theme.
- Some of the challenges werenāt good.
- There are still a lot of shop-only Yoroi items, I think.
I like the armor, but I wish the body type could be changed like the Mark VII.

Like many others it doesnāt feel much like an āeventā to me.
I donāt hate the fiesta mode, itās been helpful for some of the weekly challenges and the randomness can help make games feel a bit less repetitive but you can play fiesta outside of the āeventā anyway so this isnāt really a bonus.
I donāt like the armor so none of the unlocks have appealed to me.
Iām not a fan of how progression is gated with players not capable of passing a certain point to force them to keep coming back, thatās a nasty and cheap mobile tactic that IMO has no place in a AAA console/PC game from a first party publisher. For me if you have to resort to such tactics to get people to come back and play your game again you probably screwed up on making a fun and engaging game that people want to play as they genuinely enjoy it.

It would be a lot better if they figure out a way to tie the theme of the event directly with the activity you play to progress it.
We are unlocking samurai armor? Give us something samurai themed. Like a Swords gametype, or a 1 life elimination type thing.
