Them Pulse Nades

So I mastered them yesterday! Man was I happy their actually kind of fun to use once you get used to them

I know understand why people make threads bragging about it because it is an accomplishment, atleast for me it was, felt good getting the 250th kill, I sent him a message thanking him for dying to my pulse ;D

Best place to get them on is Regicide on Haven, I usually get 5-10 a match, Most I’ve gotten was 13 and it was my ToD, Saved the game in my fileshare too

My recommended loadout for anyone looking to master them is:

Assault Rifle
Plasma Pistol
Promethean Vision
Pulse Grenades
Grenadier
Stealth

I have noticed people trying to get them would throw a pulse first, Don’t do that, Take their shields down with the AR which doesn’t take long or charged PP and THEN throw a grenade (at their feet) the initial blast of it opening is enough to kill them

You can also use the vision and wait for them to turn a corner, Throw the first which will drain their shields completely followed by the second aimed correctly, Take some time to really aim

Best map is Haven, followed by Abandon. If the map isn’t voted then just back out and load the playlist again, but just make sure you don’t vote otherwise it won’t let you back out anymore. Reason being is because their small tight maps and you can jump off the ledge and commit suicide to get more nades without having to give anyone kills, weird tactic but it works

Anyway, I wish you all trying to master them the best of luck, and trust me, it’ll be frustrating sometimes, but hella worth it when you get done

I have not mastered them yet, but I am almost there. It is funny how seemingly obvious it is to use the Pulse Grenade after you deal damage, not before, but because of being so used to the other grenades where you throw them first and then shoot the person, I think most people try and use them like that too, and they don’t work that way.

I’ll admit at first they seemed really terrible but now looking back I don’t understand how I didn’t figure it out, it’s so simple haha. And you’re right they are actually pretty fun/good to use once you get the hang of them.

Pulse grenade lovers! Those things are fun. I think that 343 nailed those things so well. They take a bit of skill to use but man is it fun to kill with them.
