Thel'Vadam

I have been going dark for the past few weeks and I just wanted to ask if there is any news on whether or not The Arbiter will return in Halo 4?

Nothing yet I’m afraid.

No news on the campaign at all. I would assume that he will make a return at some point in the trilogy though.

Thanks. I really hope he returns at some point during the new trilogy. He has always been my favorite character besides the Chief of course.

Would be awesome to see the Arbiter again, unless the chief never realy liked him then theres that awkward moment where Arbiter thinks they friends.

Why in the world would you think any human would like Thel? Or Elites at all?
Are you forgetting that Thel was a ship master, his hand alone killed millions perhaps billions. Thel, just like every other Elite, deserves nothing more then to have his throat torn out.

may i remind you he betrayed his own faction to help the Human cause? and created a rebellion within the Covenant. If it were not for him, Humanity would of gone extinct. Sure he killed many of them, but he saved even more

He only “helped” us to take out the Covies, not out of some moral obligation.

And it’s not like Thel should be liking the Chief either. Thanks to the Chief blowing up the Halo he lost his rank and got the Mark of Shame.

and to take out the flood. and if he really still hated humanity in the end, he wouldnt of attended the memorial service. Thel is the very reason humans survived, and humans are the very reason he survived. If it were not for that alliance, Elites, Humans, Covenant, all would of died, because they wouldnt of even been able to stop Tarterus, let alone Truth.

if it were not for the Mark of Shame and becoming Arbiter, he would of blindly ignited Halo and destroyed the entire galaxy.

That’s also a another good point.
These two, more then likely hate each other with a passion.

Anyone who thinks that Thel and John don’t have a deep bond did not pay attention to Halo 3 in the slightest.

Elites value honor above all else. The covenant destroyed their honor. I don’t think arby hates the chief…because the chief and the rest of the spartans were honorable opponents above all else.

I don’t think the elites hate humanity; they hate the covenant for lying to them to make them hate humanity.

Oh damn that’s right, the memorial, got me there.

it’s been 3 years since I’v played Halo3, I remember it being pretty uneasy between Elites and humans, with good reason.

The end of the last mission of Halo 3 showed that they had formed some kind of bond. When the ship is taking off and the arbiter is nearly crushed by a tank and chief has to dodge a warthog, they both check to see if they are OK

I still don’t think they hate each other though. The Elites just blindly trusted the Prophets and in the end they saw that humanity wasn’t that bad at all, the Prophets just made them believe so.
