Theatre, saving battle reports

Hi all.

So in a moment of Halo nostalgia I decided to go through my videos on H3. And loved it!

However, one thing sadly lacking and something I never thought about till now was battle reports. Its all well and good looking at these videos but unless you have a pen and paper, you rarely remember what your score was (especially after 2 years without playing the game). For H4 I would love to see battle reports saved along side your game play films. And of course allowing multiple people in one theatre session (to this day I cant believe they let if out of Reach. Terrible decision).

Hope a dev sees this!

Yes! Why should we have to go to a website to view our battle record? It should be right there, on the console. Not everyone has the new Xbox 360 console (built-in wireless connection) or convenient Internet connection.

100% Agree
A great theater would be super nice - Reach’s was a let down

I barely ever used theater in Reach because of the one player per session thing. It sucked. I also really like your Battle report idea. It would really help see which games you did good on to look for clips instead of going through all of them or having to remember.

It was a worse version of H3…why they regressed I don’t know.

For me it would be helpful to remember games. Typical example. My friends come round and are like,

“so lets see this halo game you chatter on about”

So I go straight to theatre racking my brains for an ideal game to show them the intensity, skill and greatness of H4. Then this massive list of my saved games comes up and I freeze.

“-Yoink-, what’s a good game?”

This is where being able to quickly scan through the post game stats would be ideal. Instead I panic put on “great stick 3” and realise that it was a crappy stick I saved when bored. My friends look at me then the screen and says.

“you spend hours playing that?” then leaves disappointed and happy that his COD experience is better.

But wait, I found “amazing game 02!”

Bu the back of his departing head wasn’t interested.
