I know this is low on the priority list, but I’m throwing it out there. Theatre mode could use some improvements and fixes.
Bugs:
- Player armors sometimes default to the recruit set (I don’t know if this varies by core).
- Player armors sometimes default to recruit blue (I don’t know if this varies by core).
- Vehicles, when destroyed, and then you rewind the film, keep the destroyed chassis from before the rewind, allowing for there to be a junkpile of 5+ destroyed vehicles all from the same vehicle!
- Don’t know if this is a bug, but you can hear audio from every spartan (and their A.I.) regardless of who you are viewing.
Things I would like to see added:
- The ability to rewind or go forward, SLOWLY. You can either launch yourself back in time, or Nyoom forward, this makes it painfully difficult to capture a VERY specific moment, or see things on a frame by frame basis.
- The ability to adjust lighting effects… this is mostly for shields… each time they pop, it’s borderline blindling, I’m alright with this in MP as it is then very obvious they’re weak, but in screenshots, looks god-awful and tends to ruin a shot.
- The ability to adjust, I don’t even know what to call it, bloom? The thing where explosives make everything blurry and unclear, sorry for the unprofessional explanation, but getting near any explosive prevents any decent close shots because EVERYTHING blurs when you get near it.
- More zoom levels, you can toggle the timeline zoom 3 times, because that’s what’s important, but you only have 2 toggles for the actual camera, this is probably lowest priority (on an already low priority feature), but it would be nice.
I know this is a very niche thing to ask for and complain about, but I just wanted to throw it out there. If anyone else has any suggestions or gripes, or even just a stray thought about theatre mode, here’s your place to share them!
