Same here. I never once ever used theater for the campaign. Just pointless in my opinion.

In the room right before the Cartographer, there are Brutes sitting down in an eating animation.
> Anyone else find it strange that 343i said they put more modeling effort into Chief’s character than any other, when we will never see it in Theater?
Too much emphasis on Chief is killing this game IMO.
Cortana got killed off. It’s only a matter of time before the washed up hasbin dies too.
All that effort could have gone into the enemy and ally modeling instead of reusing/adapting them from Reach.

Maybe in your case. I’ve had so many OMG WTF ROFLCOPTER moments in both Campaign and Spops since release that I wish I could have made clips of. And i’m sure Machinima could have done some great things with Spops.
It is a shame. I used it a fair bit, for FF and Campaign, but not a much as I did the MM theater.
Still, if it ever came down to a vote, it would have to be ‘Yes, put it in’. I’ve seen a lot of good machinima that relies on assets only available in campaign.
> It sounds like it’s been made official. No theater mode for SOPS or Campaign. Disappointing!!!
Another unique feature that 343i scrapped. A feature that was introduced to the Halo franchise in 2007. A feature that has provided many players the opportunity to share their funny, humiliating, or confusing Campaign / Firefight experiences with others.
Very, very disappointing development planning, I must say.

Very, very disappointing development planning, I must say. To scrap a tremendously popular and successful feature that has been in prior games can simply be defined as idiocy.

Theater in campaign was very popular for screenshots, but now that they’ve axed so many features such as this, it limits you, and what you can do.
“They currently don’t have plans” means as much as they don’t have any plans on implementing Theater in Campaign and SpOps.
They just said it that way to calm people down and make them believe that there is a possibility. There is none, it is the same as when 343i were saying “We changed a lot, but it still feels like Halo”, or “The Campaign is a Halo-sized Campaign” and turned out to be the shortest.
Not saying 343i are liars, just saying don’t have too much hopes just because they are saying something indirectly.
> Guys, honestly, how many of you guys actually used Theater for Campaign and Firefight? A few of you did, but most of us only used it for the occasional fail and easter egg.
>
> I would definitely like Theater for Campaign and Spartan Ops, but I don’t see it as a mandatory requirement.
I used it in firefight all the time, because it afforded me to take film and screenshots with my colors, not MP red or blue. I recorded all my awesome playing, when I had awesome playing to films in FF. The terrible fails or funny things that happened Campaign. I was under the impression that we were told that they were working on it. Now, its lost. That is kinda disappointing.
> O well they dont need to work on this how about working on something that matters like playlists and ranking system things we need…
you are a fool…
One thing you need is something else someone doesnt need. Instead of being only concerned with what you want you should be getting behind what others love in halo as well. I never used theater myself but I know others did. There simply is no excuse why a feature from a 5 year old game (halo 3) cant be in H4. The same can be said for ranked and social playlists.
If we all do that and suppoert each other then we can send a message that we wont accept half baked games.
Its fans like you that kill the series and contribute to removing basic features of the game, ranking system included.
