Many users and sites use it. People have used it for Machinima, sites such as Halopedia use it to get images of things they can’t get any other way. Many of these images have gone on to be used in official products made by Microsoft and 343. There are a number of things in campaign (such as the Librarian’s Sentinels) that will no longer have high quality screenshots.

I think that may have been an autocorrect fail and he meant the peeing brute easter egg.

This. I’m a huge canon person. I love it when I see something new in campaign and then I can go on Halopedian.com and see screens of what it looks like close up from all angles and read descriptions of where they’re found, etc. I’m really bummed by this omission. I think they literally removed more features than they added.

Same here. I never once ever used theater for the campaign. Just pointless in my opinion.

In the room right before the Cartographer, there are Brutes sitting down in an eating animation.
> Anyone else find it strange that 343i said they put more modeling effort into Chief’s character than any other, when we will never see it in Theater?
Too much emphasis on Chief is killing this game IMO.
Cortana got killed off. It’s only a matter of time before the washed up hasbin dies too.
All that effort could have gone into the enemy and ally modeling instead of reusing/adapting them from Reach.

Maybe in your case. I’ve had so many OMG WTF ROFLCOPTER moments in both Campaign and Spops since release that I wish I could have made clips of. And i’m sure Machinima could have done some great things with Spops.
It is a shame. I used it a fair bit, for FF and Campaign, but not a much as I did the MM theater.
Still, if it ever came down to a vote, it would have to be ‘Yes, put it in’. I’ve seen a lot of good machinima that relies on assets only available in campaign.
> It sounds like it’s been made official. No theater mode for SOPS or Campaign. Disappointing!!!
Another unique feature that 343i scrapped. A feature that was introduced to the Halo franchise in 2007. A feature that has provided many players the opportunity to share their funny, humiliating, or confusing Campaign / Firefight experiences with others.
Very, very disappointing development planning, I must say.

Very, very disappointing development planning, I must say. To scrap a tremendously popular and successful feature that has been in prior games can simply be defined as idiocy.
