Anybody knows if you’re ever going to be able to record and snap screenshots in theater? Weird that they removed this, makes no sense. Feels like an important thing for the community.
They removed it because the upload system can reach a broader audience. I can literally text or link people to my videos like this. In the old file share system, one would have to go into their game, look me up, access my file share, download the clip, and play it. And if they didn’t have halo they were boned. But the theater system does need more tools for sure.

Yeah that’s true but I don’t see Upload as a replacement for a recording feature in theater. With Upload you can’t, for example, replay old clips and look at them from different angles or share them with the community from within the game. I think this makes it more difficult to build a thriving community around the game.
Halo 3 and Reach worked beautifully, why remove it? I just don’t get it.
