They stupidly removed the screenshot function. No idea why.
They need to return it. Ideally make it so you can use a screenshot as a custom Avatar, custom map thumbnail etc.
You can insert a TON of features into this sentence.
A few examples:
They stupidly removed the pregame lobbies function. No idea why.
They stupidly removed the default open mic function. No idea why.
They stupidly removed the “seasons” function. No idea why.
And the list goes on.

Theater mode has been gutted overtime. At release MCC supported screenshots and then the Xbox One X patch removed it silently. If I had to hazard a guess as to why I have a few thoughts.
- Xbox supports screenshots at an OS level.
- File sharing of screenshots can lead to explicit content that 343 would rather not have around.
We can’t even save theater files on Xbox which is pretty silly. Once they are gone from the recent films they are gone for good. No clip support either. In an ideal world it would be awesome to be able to share clips on the file share and be able to view them in the UI without having to boot and load into theater, but alas that would be a lot of work.
