Considering the X1 has dvr capability do you think 343i would take the time to redo theater mode in the next game? I don’t think so. I think that they wouldn’t put that effort in because it would ultimately end up being a useless feature depending on how good the gameplay recording actually works which if it does would render the now underwhelming theater mode obsolete. I don’t want to see it go, but it wouldn’t make much sense for it to still be there and maybe they might actually add firefight back into the game because of it or more vehicles and game modes for that matter.
It’s possible. As of yet, we aren’t exactly sure of the Game DVR’s full capabilities.
If it is implemented, it needs the following:
- The ability to watch films with more than one person.
- The ability to film Campaign, Forge, Multiplayer, and everything else.
- That’s it. Everything like screenshot taking should stay in there.

If I’m not mistaken, the Game DVR does just that. It also allows for the uploader to add a commentary (utilizing the Kinect’s microphone), I believe.
The Xbox One’s DVR mode most likely just shows the player’s point of view, nothing more. Theater, on the other hand, allows you to fly around the map and follow any player you’d like.
I sure hope that Theater will return in its full pride and glory from the Halo 3/Reach days.
I hope Halo 5’s theatre is superior to Halo 3’s. That would definitely be an improvement over Halo 4 and it would be a selling point on my part.

Twitch is integrated with the Xbox One.
But they might add youtube support later on maybe? =P
