I was trying to watch a game I bookmarked two days ago so I go to watch it today. It started normally but it went into third person spectating someone on the enemy team. I have seen this before and thought it was normal. When I go to switch over to my player the camera basically freezes and I can control the time but I am locked where ever my player was when I toggled over to them. I had to keep restarted the film for it to happen again. I remember in Halo 3 it was simple and I could switch over and watch a replay of my game with ease. I honestly do not get how theater mode can have these problems when previous did not. Anyone else have similar issues?
yes, halo 5 teather has always had problems, incomplete games, players without movement, skip frames to another players, missing players name, sometimes missing players pov, etc etc.

Such a shame, theatre mode is great feature of halo and has been since its innovative debut with Halo 3. Don’t know why it is so messed up on H5.
Theatre and game films in general have somehow taken massive steps backwards and are worse now than they were in 2007 with the launch of Halo 3. Remember that ultra feature rich theatre mode?
The state of it today is embarrassing in comparison. No game has matches Halo 3’s theatre and film modes. Not one.

Which is crazy 343 could have easy just used that as some sort of template.
Dude H5 theater has been broken since the dawn of time. My personal “favourite” bug has to be the one where it assigns user inputs to the wrong spartans causing everyone to walk into walls.
On a positive note, 343 reached out to prominent members of the editing community a few years back to ask them what they wanted for Halo Infinite theater, so at least there’s hope for the future.

Yeah, pretty much.
this thing is annoying, indeed.
