So, again, we’ve gone backwards in progress from Halo 3.
This was announced in the livestream. I cannot provide a link to when he says it, for obvious reasons.
This makes it extremely difficult to watch a gameplay with friends. Say we get through a custom game, and I want to show off one of my snipes. What do I have to do? Have everyone sign out, start the theater, then when we’re done, have everyone sign back in.
Stupid.

yep, seems like 343 are stripping away alot of things people actually enjoy, i know there trying to make halo 4 there OWN game, but taking features away isn’t the way to do it

I’ve never ONCE had a “too slow” experience, and I’ve watched films with multiple people on both the old xboxs and the new slims.

343 seem to be going backwards in a surprising amount of areas.
Theater was brought back to 1 local / 1 live in Reach because of latency/problem on loading and RAM issue with Halo 3. Nothing will change with Halo 4 which is probably using everything the XBOX360 has left.

They can’t close it without cause. I’m not worried. If they do, it’s because they’ve abused a power, and that’s not acceptable.
And yes, it was confirmed by whoever is in the livestream, so don’t keep saying “I hope that’s not the case” because it is.
NO WAY! I LOVED watching my movies with friends in Halo 3 Theatre.

They will only talk about the bad stuff (or not), until you filled their pockets and may have regretted your purchase.
Only thing about this that slightly concerns me is what Austin said. Fails of the Weak may not work as well.

I wont even use theater with one player, sounds boring.
I remembered once on the Halo PAX where someone asked if they would put 4 player theater on Reach, and they said it was something they might add later.
Because 343 cares about the community that much.

Err, Halo:Reach has one person theatre and all the Fails of the Weak are on Halo:Reach now. Don’t get how it wouldn’t work as well.

This. It took forever to watch a 10 second video.
Not really a big deal that it’s one person. Only share what you think is worth someones time. Simple.

its not exactly a backwards step, as you so claim. It was removed after halo 3 for performance reasons, and since it isn’t back now I assume these issiues couldn’t be fixed as much as 343 had hoped.
I have no problem with that really.
