Honestly I think we should unite here about lack of Theater features. We should at least have the choice to watch Theater with group of friends not just watch videos solo.

So lets simply post the complaint here. The Visible Rank people (lets be honest here) basically threw an online temper tantrum until they got what they wanted. This was even AGAINST the vision of what 343i wanted to do with the rank system by keepin it hidden to hold the cheating and boosting to a minimum.

I’m not breaking any forum rules here; I am simply stating the obvious. The mods better not even think about locking or banning this. Go look at the past posts. Only stating the truth here. And we ALL know it.

So lets just do the same. Right here. Right now. Lets all voice our displeasure. But keep it professional and keep it brief.

Halo being a social expierence it needs to have that Theater option to watch with friends and laugh about stuff that happened in a past game. That is where ALL my BEST Halo memories came from – enjoying those crazy fun videos with friends.

Come on people. If people can complain about a silly number next their name, we can complain about lack of a silly feature we all want too!

I have t say I don’t see what’s such a big deal about having friends watch a vid that they can just download from your file share? Like in halo 3

My biggest concern is the zero theater capabilities for campaign. This is basically a travesty.

Also, in regards to watching with friends, the several times I tried viewing a saved film with friends in Halo 3 and Reach almost always resulted in a very negative experience. Lots of lag, glitching, and crashes. I think it was a necessary removal.

Totally. After Halo 3, ODST, and Reach all having campaign theater mode, it’s stupid to take out such a cool feature.

I have to agree no Theater means no Fail videos to submit! As we all know Roosterteeth loves Fail videos and Anoj loves both Kills and Fails. This is not cool! Theater in all!

yeah I don’t see the purpose of visible rank, It’s like trying to see who can get the hottest car (wich can realy stand for something) and yet it don’t mena naything if ou can’t back it up by actuly proving your skills.

but it all seiousness I can’t say for sure what theatre needs to do.

You can still use Theater for multiplayer… If you watch Fails of the Weak, they mostly use multiplayer clips, so I don’t see what you’re complaining about.

343i said that they couldn’t implement two or more person theater because of framerate issues and such. If you read the latest bulletin, you would’ve known they’re working on putting out a Title Update that may fix those issues later.

They didn’t remove it, they weren’t able to put it in for launch. For this, I think we need to just wait patiently, as they’re working to put it in.

No theater in campaign is my biggest concern. No screenshots of the Chief? Tragic.

You may be 1,000,000% right in saying that. But we do need to reinforce that we all want this.

I hope they update in both clans and theatre mode, that would be epic!

they didnt wake up one morning and say “lets make it so only one person can view theater :smiley: (other 343 employees) YEA!!!” its because the xbox will have a hard time making it so you can watch it with more people =/

I honestly don’t care about theater mode being solo only. What DOES disappoint me is the lack of theater for campaign & Spartan ops! I really hope they add this at some point in an update.

I’m a huge Theater mode fan. . .

But forget the co-op Theater, what’s really disappointing is the lack of Campaign and Spartan Ops Theater.
