This has been said to death, but I am having a lot of fun with the Yappening event. The challenges (for me at least) mostly contained just “play the game” challenges and having reached level 100 in the BP last event, I was free to ignore all the other bull. I know the challenge system has been analyzed and critiqued to death at this point, but it’s crazy to me that the game instantly gets more fun after they don’t matter. It’s also crazy to me that there still isn’t some sort of overall progression system yet. After having the carrot dangling in front of you for so long, having it removed entirely makes the game feel purposeless. Overall, this event is a good step in the right direction I think.

Same here. Im just having a lot of fun. I dont care about winning in this Event. Its just fun.
Loved BTB Fiesta in halo 5.
I agree, it and super fiesta were my go to playlists in H5. It does bum me out that 343i seemingly only know how to make a game fun by taking all resemblance to the base game away. Hopefully 343i realize that people like using more than just a Warthog and Ghost all game, and that having more than 2 power weapons on the map in BTB is not only okay, but preferred.
