Alright, so I’m home on break this week and the only thing I feel like doing is sitting down and playing some Halo 4. However, for the SECOND day in a row, I find myself stopped in my tracks by this XP cap.
I honestly have not been playing for that long, and I only leveled up 5 times.(SR 47-52)
I hope that 343 will, at some point, raise the cap at least 250,000 exp.
I’m scared to go into matchmaking and play with friends because I know that I have many commendations close to leveling to a new tier and I do not want the XP to be wasted.
What they actually need to do, is make it to where commendation/challenge xp is rewarded even if you’ve reached your ‘cap’. That way, they can prevent people from easily boosting experience, while not punishing players for playing.

They should just make it so that when you reach the cap, your experience still transfers over. I find it ridiculous that it doesn’t, like “You all really don’t want people to keep playing, you have commendations and double xp going, yet you have a daily cap.”
I really don’t think that 343i thought this “Daily cap” through. Making xp transfer over would have been my top priority considering that there are commendations and challenges and a double xp promotion.
I don’t mind a cap, I really don’t, but it should be incredibly hard to Reach (cwutididthere?) As it is right now, you can just exploit SO for an hour with DEW XP… oh wait, the only way to hit it is to no life and exploit the game… never mind.

Well to sum it up. Glitchs are being fixed. A few map rotations are changing and the xp cap is going up

I just read it, I was being sarcastic. Also, it only looks to me like they raised it this week, meaning that the newly raised XP cap is the one I’m complaining about. (The update on 11/19/12)
