The Xbox One Controller has Haptic triggers

This means every time you fire a gun, you can feel a vibration in the trigger.

This is the main reason I’m getting the Xbox One because the PS4 controllers won’t have this.

So I’m hoping (and I’m pretty sure this won’t actually be the case) that if you fire, let’s say a Battle Rifle, in that small amount of time between each shot, there’d be a period where you can’t even pull the trigger at all.

If you’re firing a DMR at some guy, you probably pulled the trigger like 5 or 6 times but in the game only fired maybe 3 shots. I mean, you never even notice it.

This is something that would change shooter games (in a good way I’m saying).

Should be good

I’m sure It’s not that bad but I haven’t tested it so I don’t know.

That would be silly. You learn the rhythm of your guns after a certain amount of time.

That’s already happening right now! You KNOW how fast a BR can shoot, don’t you? Think about it. It has that little time limit until you can fire the next shot. You already “learn the rhythm” of that! And then you learn when to pull the trigger at the precise time.

It would just be nice if you’re finger would know when to pull the trigger.

I stopped using vibration in Halo 3. I still prefer no vibration. I feel like it will mess me up to have it now. And more of it too… We’ll just have to wait and see.

Most players will turn this feature off, just sayin.

Majority of the people I play with have been turning vibration off since 2002-03.

I am more concerned about SLOW TURN than anything else with the new Xbox.

I’d rather not. Not being able to pull the trigger regardless of the gun being able to fire or not would just annoy me to no end. I hope it’s something that can be turned off as I’m not sure if I will like the trigger feedback.

Interested in it, but will probably just turn it off like I do now.

  1. That’s really the reason for picking the X1 over the PS4? I’m not saying you shouldn’t get an X1 as I’m sure it will be a great system now that they got rid of the BS, but if that’s your reasoning for picking it that seems pretty silly. To each their own I guess.

  2. If you couldn’t pull the trigger at all in between shots I and a lot of other people would get highly annoyed and would find it to be a ridiculous feature. I’m not quite sure why you would want this. As long as you’re not stupid and you’re paying attention, you can learn the rhythm of the various guns or gameplay elements without such an annoying feature.

I use vibration, it helps me alot!

Great news now I have another scape goat for every time I can’t line up the shot and gun down the enemy, “It wasn’t me, It was the rumble on the trigger that made me miss!”
