Hello there, my name is Wyatt. I’ve been playing console games dating back to the release of Halo 2. I have loved the Halo franchise since i was a kid! Bought and played every single one they/you’ve released. I would just like to say that i do love Halo 5 and really appreciated the campaign, answered a lot of questions they left with Halo 4. Now to the point! I’m rather curious and upset on the choice of taking away split screen multiplayer and split screen campaign? The foundation of the game for me and many others was the fact of having friends over and playing some good quality Halo ‘together’. I recently purchased Halo 5 solely to do a full play-through of the campaign with my good friend Jesse (we do this with every Halo we’ve bought) only to find after we fired up the game and tried to enter the campaign lobby there was no multiplayer unless you have two separate Gold accounts and playing on two separate Xbox Ones… I was not happy about the loss of this feature, EA had just done similar to this with NHL 2015 and had a huge back-lash on sales and the loss of interest in the franchise all together resulting in NHL 2016 adding the feature back into the game. These are some of the reasons that PC gaming is slowly taking over. No I don’t believe in the whole PC master race mumbo-jumbo, but making choices like this with games that have been so fun and so addicting to play nearly ruined! Hopefully Microsoft/343/whoever is involved in this fix this massive mistake they have made and comply with all the petitions out there about this matter. If Halo 5 does not change i will be returning it to the store purchased from, and will be waiting for the next Halo that chooses to go back to the roots of the game. I hope that you all have taken the time to read this or join all petitions or anything that can help get Halo back to HALO!
