The wraith is broken

Okay, after making a topic about this before and realising i’m not the only one noticing this, i think 343 should do some serious work to the halo 5 wraith. It’s targeting system is completely broken, making it next to impossible to hit a target at a distance, and making it impossible to predict were the plasma bolt will land. Most people now just use the wraith as a battering ram, or need to get point blank to a target to kill it.

To make things worse there is a 1 second delay before you can see the plasma bolt making it even harder to see where it will land.

The wraith in every past halo (including halo 4) was perfect, with those you even had a good chance of taking out a banshee. But now it’s near impossible. The halo 5 wraith needs some serious improvements ASAP because right now it doesn’t even qualify as a tank. Just a giant ghost to run people over with

I am also not a fan of the plasma mortar arc. It seems too flat too me, to the point where if I want to get distance I have to aim straight up and pray.

Agreed. I only use wraiths in firefight

It possible to get used to it. I’ve hit plenty of long shots, as slow and funny as it is, people don’t seem to notice it. Like shooting Wraith mortar from ARC tunnel to one of the towers. I’m very positive that they did it on purpose, because the Wraith Ultra shoots a lot closer to how past Wraiths did. It’s a lot easier to do long shots with the Ultra and the Mortar shot doesn’t need so much leading at closer range.

The Halo Reach Wraith was definitely my favorite Wraith of all times.
