Last night I tried out team doubles and was paired up with the worst guy imaginable. We start out and I’m sticking close to him because you know…team play. Well he got really upset about it and turned around and started shooting/meleeing me. He said “why are you following me?” and “get away from me.” So I did and guess what? The other team was working together and we got destroyed.
This guy was a freaking lunatic and really encourages me to quit the game altogether. 99.5% of us will never go pro and are supposed to be playing for fun. Why do people go nuts like this and take a video game, which ultimately means nothing, so seriously? It makes me sad that most all online gaming is becoming saturated with people like this. Takes alot of fun out of these great games.

it makes no sense that he didnt want you following him. Maybe he just didnt know how to play the game. IDK it seems weird though.
It does take a lot of the fun out of it. That is why when we are playing I always have to remind my bf to calm down and chill, it is a game. He gets really upset and I’m just there to have fun. And because everyone takes it so seriously it makes me feel bad. I am not very good, I am getting better, but I feel bad that him and his friends take it so seriously and makes me feel like just because he is dating me they are stuck with me and have to suffer. I also really want to get on and play a lot when no one else will and I want to get better but I don’t want to go upset strangers.
I don’t know why he didn’t want to work together. I like working together and playing as a team because a good team is hard to beat. But he was having none of it so each time I saw the other team it was a 2 vs. 1 situation and it was terrible. I’d like to have some friends to play with but none of my friends play this game. Maybe it’s rankings, a lot of people live and die with their game rank when it doesn’t matter. This results in a mass population of super tryhards.

Why do you take this so serious and make an internet post about it? In doubles its very importan to not just run around together but flank and go for all power ups.
What does this have to do with him and many people taking the game too serious?
I dont get your complain at all. He shot you because he was annoyed. Get over it.

People are competitive, it’s human nature. Some people are more competitive than others. There are baseball, softball, basketball, football, futbol (soccer), and many other sports that are played not on a pro level, yet people that that very seriously. It’s just the way people act, nothing wrong with that. I am that competitive person that hates losing. I will definitely not act like many people are describing, but I won’t be happy, that’s for sure.

If you want to get better you’re going to need to learn to be proficient with most/all of the weapons. Also, you’ll like it more as you improve.

The last time I played with a friend he wouldn’t listen to s thing I said.
i told him to grab the sword before the enemy team and I would cover him guess what he follows me and the enemy team slaughters us

Lol me too. It gives you potential to find a new friend though, if your other random player and you mesh well.
Oh I’ve got this hands down. It was me in Halo 2 in a match of zanzibar assault. I was camping where they armed the bomb on one side and my brother on the other underneath the stairs. Bomb guy came in and went for the bomb area and ALL teammates went to the center after him. I threw a grenade a split second after my brother did and then it happened… one bomb carrier kill and 6 betrayels later I was …actually not booted. I guess everyone knew it was dumb to go to the middle like that. I wish I could of recorded it with audio one of the funniest moment in my gaming history.

Ignore him – Holiday Snipers sucks, and the social playlist is a joke right now.
