The Worst Halo Game!

The servers make this game the worst halo game in halo’s history! It’s so frustrating trying to play online and just getting smashed when you shouldn’t be! Getting shot around corners shots not registering etc!

I love the classic graphics and gameplay! Music is pretty good as well as HI story! But my god HI servers make this game such trash!

Dysync, Jitter, High Ping, Latency and etc needs fixed!
Fix the servers please!!!

Truly thought provoking and constructive stuff. Definitely warranted it’s own post.

I agree Why? it’s getting old when you are the fireteam leader and have 14 people your server and you get a error message like “sorry you cannot connect to the fireteam” and your get droped from the game. Makes no sense to me at all.

I’m not saying this is the worst Halo Game but I like this game but it has some serious issues that need to be fixed in this game that alot of people have already stated on these forums.

If we all think we should be winners - where are the losers?

Isnt this game running on Microsoft Azure servers? Shouldnt that be good?

I would like to think that they would be but nope they are trash I’m not justifying, but the game is nearly unplayable in the state that it’s in! It’s sad because halo infinite has so much potential…

It should but its not IMHO. I get dropped from games or cannot connect to game servers ETC. ETC.

Sometimes Infinite’s servers make me look back on XB Connect like it was the good ol’ days

That is when we could run our own dedicated servers like in halo combat evolved and halo 2.

Yep, this is what you get when you don’t have dedicated servers. Halo CE, Custom Edition, and Halo 2 Vista offered a superior experience for the players. And yes, I also miss those XBConnect and X-Link Kai days as well.

This whole game was built with massive input from pro players recruited by 343,

The casual or average player was ignored and still is.
Left stick aiming
20k options and tweaks for your control set up
Br aim assist reduced then reduced again to increase the skill gap WHAT A JOKE

This only effected average players making the skilled players just even more rampant

Smurfing in most games because of the wider rank perimeters in MM because there is not enough people playing

So we are now left with a sweaty population,
The problem with FTP games is the studios do not care about player numbers but revenue generated.

I loved this game my whole life. All them,
but this one is a mess
and it saddens me to think that despite playing halo from the very start I’m going to reluctantly call it a day and wait till the next Halo.

I hate the sounds in this game too, sounds so dull and cheap, like when you melee someone or hear someone near you die it does this weird bowling pin :bowling: sound it sounds so dull and super cheap sounding :joy: i also have the sound which is very un needed is the sound when you kill someone and it makes this weird as hell squishy sound after you kill someone it’s stupid and very unneeded, halo5 had one but it was very very minimal and light could barely notice it, no assassinations is dumb as hell too, im hoping our spartans are like “new recruit” spartans that are in training and learning assassinations or something and they implement some kind of basic training thing for us once they do that would be cool like the weapon range where you shoot bots but we go into a assassination simulation and practice combos once they get added in the game something like that would be cool to see since halo 4/5 spartans are more “advanced” then infinite spartans and only know how to ninja people in the back and use equipment lol

This is my number 1 issue with Infinite right now. I absolutely hate the way Infinite handles the systems that all collectively make up aim assist. I don’t think it’s too strong or too weak necessarily. I just absolutely hate how 343 moved aim assist to be mostly attached to your movement stick.

Networking optimization is also my number 1 issue with Infinite. I don’t know which one is 1th though (if you know, you know )

Lol okay. Now imagine a halo game that didn’t have those problems for the most part and was still more dead than halo infinite. That’s the real worst halo game - halo 4.

Don’t forget Halo Combat Evolved!! It also had dedicated server software for users!

I think you just read the headline not the post! The servers for this game is what’s making it trash! Even though halo 4 was not a good halo game it was still playable!!!

I 100% agree!! Bud!

20 chars

Halo 4 was fun.
Ugly, and not classic Halo, but was it really performing worse than infinite?

Nah I read the post. People want to play infinite and “cant” due to the reasons listed on the post. Most of those reasons don’t happen all match every match unless you unfortunately live in a region with low population. People could play h4 and didn’t want to, making h4 the worst halo game of all time.

High ping is usually the result of not having decent population in a given area, it’s a problem for all the halo games outside the USA and western Europe. We’ve been shot through corners and walls since online gaming started and still happens in every game I’ve played online. Whatever
desync is exactly is the only thing that’s unique to halo infinite.

i find it sad to see that there have threat the open world setting for the campaign really bad.
since i was really hoping that the campaign part with the open world setting was something big like you see in other open world game’s that you can tell its something super and become’s fun to go wild more.

but it took 4 month’s after the release to become compleet boring to keep doing the same things again and again each time.

from the mutliplayer side i know all since there told that halo infinite multiplayer become’s F2P that it was all a bad sign from its not become something good like in halo 5 and halo 4 multiplayer.
