> But that is the modern gamer generation for you. The moment one thing changes with their precious game series it’s automatically bad. Oh and let’s not forget any other game is absolute garbage.
>
> Hey I know let’s make 200+ hate threads about a game that isn’t even released based on what we’ve read and now what we have experienced first hand, because god know reading something and seeing something is the same thing, I totally forgot there were dragons in the real world, guess I missed it.
I know you’re exaggerating for the effect of winning an argument against someone with valid points and all. But that was absolutely illogical. Confirmed data is not to be compared to that of mythology.
> Oh no they borrowed something from another game. Boohoo…what if it makes the game better.
What if we like halo for what it is and would play said other game if that was what we wanted. I don’t play halo for the sci-fi skin. I played halo 1-3 for its game mechanics and skill gap.
> Oh no they changed the name of matchmaking. It’s still basically the same thing. So what if people drop in and out, if people were half the hard core gamers they said they were then there wouldn’t be a problem with this, but in the end most gamers are sore -Yoink!- losers who rage quit when things don’t go their way.
Joining a game mid session gets rid of all of seriousness in competition that drove you to win in previous halo games. When you play cod you play like a -Yoink- to try to get good K/D because winning the game is absolutely worthless. With no incentive to win you quit out of games. When you quit out of games another person is thrown in to (the vast majority of the time) a losing team. This also encourages quitting for childish reasons by removing any penalties or rewards.
> Oh no it’s becoming too much like CoD. Umm…ok so you can buy your abilities? big deal? do you die from 3 bullets? No…then what the hell is the problem…Oh I know it’s the fact the it’s “NOT HALO”.
It’s not exactly like cod, but its obviously moving in the direction. And this direction isn’t the correct direction for halo. If we wanted to play cod we would be playing cod. There is a reason that the xbox is the standard household gaming device. That reason is halo, you can try to deny it but the xbox became what it is today specifically because of the gameplay that halo provided at one time.
> Why not? If it is balanced and work well what would be the problem…the problem is that most Halo fans here are ignorant…why change something when the classic was good?
I’m going to have such a hard time responding to this without my head blowing clear off my neck so i’ll just say this… BALANCED???
> Well because otherwise it gets stale and repetitive and then it will truly be like CoD. I would rather Halo change completely than stay the same several games over.
And that’s the difference. I want a new halo game. You want a new game.
