So I was playing the beta, empire with some randoms when something happened that I just made me start laugh like crazy. I got a ground pound kill… in mid air. I couldn’t believe it. I think it is a world first, but I don’t know. I didn’t see any videos for it. But anyway, thank you 343. This beta is awesome, though I do have some problems I will put in the feedback area soon. Pretty awesome. It happened so fast that it was hard to fully take in. Awesome, nonetheless.

That was pretty good. I havent even bothered with the ground pound.

Probably not the first, but very very cool nonetheless. There should be some sort of medal for it, maybe “Pull Pound” or “Air Pound” or something.

It’s funny how people manage to get kills with ground pound at all. I thought it was for the most part useless.

A guy in my game got it on the last kill today. i kinda wish they had the feature where it would show the entire lobby the last kill of the game.

I like that idea. They really should add this.

Lol i was grounded on empire yesterday. I totally forgot the mechanic is in the game ; when the dude jumped from outside middle into the inside part i was crouching waiting for him to land like previous halos. He touched down for the instakill

I’ve done it to a player in “the pit” of empire who was trying to jump up to a higher level. I do believe ground pounding someone trying to ground pound should be that exact achievement though.

Not exactly the first. I got one two days ago and another yesterday, and I’m sure others got it before you and I. But nice one either way! :stuck_out_tongue:
