Oh no I know you are…I was just ranting about it yo some one like minded lol
True. But where did the spare helmet come from? That there is no way that the spirt of fire had some spares lying around when you consider that they picked up those spartan 2 last second before following Anders to the shield world.
oops sorry {20 character min}
Uhm…were there not spartan 4s on zeta halo before the banished arrived? Maybe it was scavenged?
I mean in Halo wars 2 for Jerome.
how did chief lose at reach?
It was really a joint effort by him and the UNSC that lead to reach being lost.
Right so were there not spartan 4s there before the banished arrived?
wait, what? chief helped reach fall
With the same outdated helmet that wasn’t used for 23-25 years?
Why? It is repeatedly shown that Spartans heal at an extremely accelerated rate even from serious injuries. Something that would put a normal human out for weeks takes a couple days at worst for a Spartan to heal up. Linda and Kelly for example are up way before they are predicted to be ready after having whole internal organs replaced.
In some of the most recent material John heals off having a small chunk of his leg burned off by plasma in about a day while still in combat.

I don’t think he was trying to lose Reach, but it was a loss. Kinda like how Arby lost the first Halo
Mark IV look for gen 3?
not for John he destroyed the circumference’s nav drive/ai, that was his mission and he completed it. he also got linda back to the autumn and into cryo
I mean after reading the description of the encounter it seems that Chief didn’t even land punches that he put on Atroix on said Brute and had the life almost squeezed out of him. He was literally in the same situation being held out on the ship and couldve done exactly what he did on said Brute.
Who can tell? This franchise has a load of bad writing and convenient stuff that happens. At least we get a butt load of cool moments that come from it. Net win.
Except Atriox tossed his butt out of the ship instead of choking him out, so chief never got the chance.
Cheif can’t really take any responsibility for losing at Reach.
To begin with the Spartan IIs were on a completely separate mission at the time. The Pillar of Autumn was on it’s way out of the system and had to turn around and about to assist. By the time they got back the UNSC fleet was already being dumpstered.
He sent most of the Spartans to try to defend the Orbital MAC gun generators but it was too little to late and their Pelican got shot down delaying them.
Chief’s presence was if anything a net positive for having resolved a sercurity issue on an Orbital station that failed to enact the Cole Protocol. It’s all that could have been done.

Yaaaaay how very fitting
Lol
A thinking brute like Atriox is very dangerous, and it is acceptable to be defeated by him. In addition, the banished elite are a group of beautiful bastards without the concept of honor (except perhaps the Shipmaster). I used to look forward to a thrilling and cruel chase game with Jega. I am very disappointed. The arbiter of the dark side was defeated in this way
Atriox’ victory in Infinite is not the Worf effect. The Worf effect may have counted for the first Spartan we see get rocked by Atriox. But by the time Atriox fights Master Chief, it’s just established canon that Atriox can easily ruin a Spartan’s day.
