To be fair. Unlike the chief and arbitor, we have never seen Atriox lose a fight.
The need for that idea is foolish because we see as of Halo Reach how Spartans can die. Six was gunned down and surrounded, Carter wounded while suiciding a Scarab, Emile sneak attacked by a sword, Kat an unfortunate accident. Like legit we saw five Spartans die in one game and above all else lose Reach. They were helpless when the whole covenant fleet was at their doorstep.
This whole gimmick of “oh Spartans never die” was long and done with already. What 343 did to Chief was needless. Especially when we go in a curbstomp most of the Banished generals ANYWAY!
when did chief or Arby lose an actual fight?
Do we count the didact in halo 4? Because technically john lost the initial one with him
Chief’s loses:
Almost infected by flood in The Flood and several other encounters in the books where he would have died if Cortana or Blue Team did not save him last second. Most encounters with the Didact and would have died if Cortana did not save him in the last second. Intro to Halo Infinite, where he had nobody to save him.
Arbiter loses:
All of Halo CE, first fight with Tartarus.
idk if we can call that a fight didact just tossed chief aside like a wet paper towel and the way it was done was much more believable than the opening to this game
that first fight with tartar sauce wasn’t even a fight, oh and arby was never in CE
The fight between Chief and Atriox wasn’t really a fight either.
The intro to and half of Halo 2 is all about how arbiter’s loss in CE and the repercussions of.
Another loss for Chief, planet Reach.
I think we are talking more 1 on 1 fights here
i’m pretty sure we can call that a fight lmao
It was a curb stomp similar to the first time chief fought a basic brute.
Chief has had almost zero 1 on 1 fights since he got paired with Cortana. Take away the books and the first, nope, second 1v1 we see in a game he loses to Atriox.
Except Chief actually killed that Brute and it was by no means basic.
Yeah so chief takes a full swing of the hammer and parries it.
By that point chief’s shields are already half way down because be got shot by a jackal.
Assuming Atriox swung at him and he meant it and if we follow common laws on biology and physics he took a blow that would have hurt Atriox himself and absorbed it…cool
Then…he lays a full force volley of punches to his solar plexus (or whatever the hell the brutes have) and an uppercut straight to an unprotected jaw… TO NO EFFECT.
And we know the kind of force a Spartan 2 can exert while wearing a suit that costs like A SMALL STARSHIP
I call bulls##t and bad writing I am sorry…
Halo 5 he fights Locke 1 on 1 and wins…
We know that fight was meant to imply locke is on par with the chief…
Which is bull…
Also…Halo wars 2…jerome (was it jerome or the other one) manhandles a HORDE of brutes by himself so much that even his AI is stunned
To be fair, most of them died in a single battle after almost 30 years fighting the covies, a good chunk of which were just due to damaged pelican.
That is why i said it was similar.
That standard brute almost killed the chief.
Atriox is leagues above what that brute was.
Oh yeah. That did happen. I had no idea that I blocked that much of Halo 5 from my memory.
True. I call BS on him healing up so quickly and being that capable after having his armor and shoulder destroyed by Atriox, but it did happen.
umm i think you replied to the wrong person lol im on your side, btw IMO this whole game is bad writing
Chief is shown healing at roughly 20 times the speed of a human in the books after being plasma burned to to the thigh (or more…installation 00 has the break down)
