I was using the White Scar plasma caster and got a few kills with it, enough kills that should have finished my kill commendation for the weapon, but none of the kills with it counted towards my progression.
Also, the kills with the weapon never showed the symbol for the plasma caster in the ‘kill feed’ log. It just read ‘Gamertag killed Gamertag’ in the feed.
