Halo infinite is a weak break.
This reward made me decide that I won’t be playing Halo much this week. Thanks 343 for making it a easy choice to spend my playtime on other games.

Yeah we obviously don’t have any figures for Xbox but I’ve just watched the latest GameLeap video on YouTube and apparently Halo Infinite is no longer in the top 5 for Xbox now. Steam population is one thing but as far as I know, theres absolutely no reason to suggest that the Xbox population drop/decline/decay wouldn’t or shouldn’t mirror that of Steam…we’re all gamers playing the same game (albeit by different rules half the time it seems with crossplay) so we all have the same or at least similar views on the game and whether or not we decide to spend our time on other games.
There’s an argument that 343i may be able to win back the population they have lost, but I just don’t see that happening for most players. There is a big casual player base out there in a highly competitive market that simply switch games at the drop of a hat so it would take a minor miracle for them to come back for more than just a few few days or weeks. I know my 7 mates who used to play every night have pretty much gone for good, and have already moved on to new games or back to the ones they used to play…GamesPass with all its free games in a disposable society is actually a thorn in the side for Halo Infinite rather than a saviour…and Halo Infinite has become very much disposable to the casual gamer.
If it wasn’t for the fact that forced crossplay, the cheats using hacks and the deliberate attempt to sabotage their own game, I’d be back playing COD MW and Warzone…but thats been uninstalled and can’t be bothered to download it again or play whatever new crappy version of COD thats been released.

Definitely not worth the headache of playing modes I don’t want or wasting challenge swaps. The ultimate challenge also looks like it involves winning ranked capture the flag games which you can add that onto the long list of -Yoink!- challenges that some moron at 343 thought would be a good idea.

You guys are being played and most of the ones that grind out this nonsens that say it’s nonsense will grind it out anyway.
Do you know why?
Because there isn’t deadly squat to do in this game or “earn” for that matter.
Edit: Tbh, it’s cheap lazy work to keep you on a hamster wheel.

I haven’t completed one of the weekly ultimate challenges because they’ve all been garbage rewards IMO. I just have that one gold visor they gave everyone for free lol

To be fair. Does anyone need more of a reason outside of this to stop playing any game?
If the game becomes boring, no amount of XP or other rewards would keep me playing.
Does anyone know the capstone challenge by chance? I assume it has to do with CTF but…
I have no desire to play the game anymore. Didn’t play for the last few days, and have not even had an itch to play. I might be back for season 2.
Yeah I really don’t care about the weekly ultimate rewards. I like the tenrai event as I enjoy fiesta. Other than that I don’t see myself playing to much Infinite. MCC is where the better and more fun Halo is at.
and its 3 ranked CTF WINS.

If they put more than four items in the store maybe they would have a bit better of an offering. But having to wait a full week for a refresh on stuff is a bit much.

Like, why isnt it just a menu with categories like EVERY OTHER in game shop? Whats the purpose of showing 4 peices of garbage for an entire week and get no hits, rather than just post everything all the time and get that FOMO fist out of their mouth? Who the hell approved this shop design? What was the entire chain of command smoking?

Call me crazy, but i love this. For once there’s nothing forcing me to play, the last 2 rewards made yell and getting angry at the tv because of the broken challenge system, now i can play how i want, whenever i want.

I’m honestly not seeing a problem here. Yeah the emblem looks lame but at least I don’t have to care if I get it or not. Gonna take the week off to play something else or grind ranked. Thanks 343i.

Sometimes when I go through my customizations I’m super confused at how I have some things and not other items. I truly just want an all black or a smoke visor. Maybe I’ve got it right now, maybe I don’t.
