So what is everyone doing the weekend before halo 5 releases?
I will be watching all of the halo movies. Halo Forward Unto Dawn and Halo Nightfall and before that I will be playing all of the Halo campaigns from halo combat evolved to halo 4. Then Sunday I will be listening to all of Hunt the truth. Would make the game more special for me if i wait to listen to them before the game comes out.
What are all of your plans?

Same here. I’ll probably just be playing through Halo 1-4, then trying to pass time on Netflix, and other games until the 27th.

Well, I have already started, I am refollowing the halo timeline, reading all novels, comic, watching terminals, films and play all games.
I just rewatched Forward unto Dawn recently and man its so much better than Nightfall… Nightfall had its moments, but still. I like how Lekgolo make for the big bad guy of both movies. Hunters are just destined for the big screen.

Halo Forward Unto Dawn was unreal. Wasn’t the real master chief but the guy who played him did a great a job.

Indeed. Everything felt suspenseful. Seeing those ODSTs drop when the attack started sent hype chills all through my body. From there onward everything was kind of a roller coaster.
In Nightfall the entire thing was extremely predictable. But still enjoyable. The movie had a cool concept but ultimately fell a little short on the execution. Still a fun watch though.
I’m just trying to finish all campaign’s on legendary before the release, I only have ce and h4 left. I need the helioskril armor.

Hunters are dramatically big, so they’re a really easy enemy to use for an antagonist. It’s hard-hitting especially since Forward wasn’t a very long series.
Making an elite a big bad guy would require a little more character development on screen, while a hunter just needs to be there to get the point across. (catch my drift?)
Also, does anyone else think that Locke’s actor isn’t very good at delivering lines? He is always awkwardly looking around at different people while he’s talking (to more than one person). (Anyone else notice this?)
His acting is very forced and very noticeable, appreciably more than any other character in any Halo game.

Hunter worms. Possibly mutated or something along those lines.
Sleeping. I’ll make sure to use those two days to redeem all my all-nighters.

that was the chief, in the games he’s the strong silent type, but in the books he has more people around and he actually talks, also you forget, that the chief in the games is 40+ years old at the end of the covenant war, but in FUD he’s 18 at most, as they have mjolnir, but i don’t think they had shields meaning that it was pre-reach im not at home and can’t check the relevant books for dates and im not trolling the internet to find them so yea, young chief and sacred cadets, talking is a thing.
i can finish all 5 campaigns on leg within 2days solo, less with help (no skulls involved) just remember, needlers and noob combos. needlers and noob combos.
