If you go back to the 2019 Halo infinite reveal, right after Chief’s armor gets rebooted, he inserts an AI chip into his helmet that says “WEAPON CONTAINMENT DEVICE INSERTED”.
Fast Forward to the 2020 gameplay reveal, and when Chief opens up the map to check the AA gun objectives, the description for each of them reads “This AA cannon is controlled by a command console inside a control room underneath the cannon. Use the weapon to hack into the console and destroy them;”.
Looks like the AI chip holds some sort of virus that’s probably going to be used against AIs and various computerized systems throughout the game. Probably explains why after inserting the chip in the 2019 reveal it came up with a prompt saying “>> AI NOT DETECTED << CONTINUE?”. Just thought this was kinda cool
