The Weapon Update in Customs?

Now how do I go about with this? Me and two of my buddies are in customs checking them out, but it doesn’t seem to work in customs.
I saved the actual matchmaking infinity slayer gametype, customized it a bit, and out it on in customs. The weapons aren’t weapon tuning updated though!
I thought we could save the gametype and the new weapons would work?

Can someone help me?

It’s basically it’s own gametype uploaded to matchmaking, and so the update doesn’t affect customs. It’s a matchmaking gametype update so to speak.

Play a round online and then download it from there, this way you can play it in customs.

So you’re telling me that for me to enjoy the new update, I have to get XBL gold, have good internet, and play their online matchmaking playlist

Why would you worry about getting the update if you don’t have Gold anyway?

LAN customs maybe?

So after you played a game in MM you went in and saved the gametype correct?

Worked for me.

Yes, I did.
I know for a fact because the battle rifle is a 5 shot weapon and light rifle is slower like it was before.

You’re missing something then. Without being home I can’t tell you exactly how to save and play it but you need to save the gametype from recent games after playing in MM and make sure you have that gametype selected for customs.

I take it the weapon tuning update went live today. I can’t wait to get home now.
