You lot need to calm down with all your ‘343 are leaving the DMR because they think it’s fine!’ rubbish. The DMR is fine! It’s kill time is equal to the BR’s of past halos like Halo 2 and 3, what is wrong is the relatively slow kill time of the other rifles. People seem to miss the point of both this update and the DMR. The DMR is the Designated Marksman Rifle, it’s supposed to have an advantage at long range. What it’s not supposed to have is an advantage at close range, that’s what this update is fixing!

Just an FYI post, also keep in mind that everything you see next week is subject to change

Because they are going to leave DMR’s aim assist and even apply it to Light Rifle. If they do that every noob can shoot like a pro not only with DMR but with Light Rifle as well. God have mercy upon fine people on maps like Ragnarok or Settler.

The DMR should never be able to cross map on Settler or Ragnarock; its effective range is WAY too long and needs to be cut back.
