the way XP is earned

Currently XP is awarded after completing a match, no matter the result.

Completion XP is around 1500 XP

However winning a game awards hardly any XP

Winning XP is around 500 XP if I remember correctly

Finally score XP is around the same as winning XP but i think it can go up to 750 XP

So I ask 343

Why?

This system makes no sense too me personally, surely a victory should be worth more than simply finishing the game no?

Personally I beleive there should be no free XP after a victory, all it does is encourage AFKing and your team to play poorly knowing they will be guaranteed 1500 XP at the end of the game.

So here is how I think XP should be restructured

Victory = 1500 XP +
Completion = 250 XP (Or removed completely)

Your score XP should be based on your K/D ratio

-10 and lower = no XP

-5 = 50 XP

0 = 150 XP

+5 = 450 XP

  • 10 and higher = 750 XP

This system should bring back the play to win mentality many were used to from halo 3/2 and make the road to SR 130 a bit more of a challenge.

Opinions?
