I’ve been a fan of Halo since way back in 2002 when I started playing it on my OG Xbox. I’ve read the books, I’ve played all of the games and I can honestly say that I really like where the story is going. There’s lots of posts criticizing whether 343 is setting Locke up to replace Chief or not and I can honestly say that either way the franchise is going in a good direction. Chief is the face of Halo, he always has been, so to be dismissed so easily (when Halo 6 has yet to come out and Halo 5 still has yet to be released) is heresy! Anyways, what does everyone think of the direction of the storyline?

I like how in the books it’s gone more into ONI and the cloak and dagger intelligence side of things. The games will always deliver huge bombastic action, but it’s cool to see the more behind the scenes scheming and conniving.
I like the more serious direction there taking with the dark tones. Very excited for whats to come.
I too really like where the story seems to be going. I appreciate the more gritty ONI focus of the books and ‘Hunt the Truth’, and from the trailers for Halo 5 it seems like the game is following suit. I do hope Chief sticks around far part 5 and 6 though. He’s too central to be left by the wayside in my opinion. Although maybe a spin off game solely based on fire team Osiris could be cool?
I love the way the story is going! 343 makes the story much deeper than Bungie ever did. I am looking forward to how Hunt the Truth and Halo 5’s story will unfold.

I really like the way the books are going as well. ONI is a pretty scary organization and I really love how it’s being brought to the forefront of Halo 5. The dark tones are really great!

Un videojuego que se enfocara en la guerra civil que se vivió en Sanghelios
donde el Arbiter (Inquisidor) fuera el protagonista de este videojuego
I like the way the story is currently heading as well. After the events of Halo 4, I don’t see Master Chief going anywhere just yet, but I’m leaving myself ready to be wrong, just in case.
