The way 343 names playlists

I disagree with the way 343 names their playlists. Names like Big Team Skirmish and Legendary Slayer. Why must they make these weird names for stuff. Why not just name it what it is? Legendary slayer should be Classic and Skirmish should be objective.
Why confuse people with these off the wall undescriptive playlist titles???

I have to agree entirely, the same thing was said back in Halo: Reach when they called the TU Team Slayer playlist ‘Super Slayer’.

Although, I have to point out, Legendary Slayer isn’t Classic Slayer, not yet anyways.

Well, legendary isn’t “classic.” Any attempt at classic would have to remove sprint. You could justify calling it “traditional slayer” if you really wanted to.

What I’m confused on is why they didn’t just call it “team slayer,” as it followed the same core principles that the previous three titles used in that play list.

I disagree.

Where a play list has had the word ‘Objective’ in it, such as in Halo 3, Halo Reach and Halo 4 MM, that play list was very lowly populated.

On the other hand, with some thought, this problem has been removed by replacing the word ‘Objective(s)’ with ‘Skirmish’.Many more people play the list than previously did.

As for Legendary Slayer, meh. Another lowly populated almost dead play list. Wonder why! Oh, that’s it…another old style play list.

That’s a huge assumption and completely false.

No idea if you remember Halo 3 at all, but there is a playlist titled Social Skirmish and it was always low populated.

Why should Legendary Slayer be named Classic?

i agree they do tend to name the lists all goofy.

however legendary should not be called classic. i like the guy who said name it traditional. thats more along the lines of what it is. its not classic till you have powerups on the map man. i want camo, overshields, the works.

sprint is still fine for me personally.
