Now when I say this I dont mean it for it to sound like I hate 343 or anything I enjoy halo 5 considering my level. But am I tripping or does the wasp seem to play like a reskin phaeton (I was watching the stream) to me it seems like it plays exactly the same and moves the same minus some details now I didn’t watch the stream fully I dropped in for like 5 minutes but to me it just felt like a phaeton

they do not play the same, doesn’t the phenton burst to the sides? the wasp glides,
one shots projectile missles( two at a time), the other a beam of light that drags the ground
the only similarity they share, is that they are both VtoL’s
if you have to take away details to make something the same, then it isn’t the same, simply put

Well no only the helio shoots lasers the default one shots projectiles. Also to me the only difference I saw was the skin looked different and that the phaeton can burst if you press the left trigger. Now like I said I only watched it for a few minutes but I guess we can have a feel for it today

Also the phaeton glides it just has an ability to burst go the side (left trigger) and recharges kinda like how the banshee has a boost hat has to recharge. The phaeton shoots projectiles and also can switch to fire missles ( once again I’m talking about default phaeton not the Helios one) the wasp glides shoots projectiles and has an option to shoot missles but it can’t burst it. Like I said at least to me it felt like there was only minor differences like one flies faster or is a bit smaller. Nothing major
Supposedly you can snipe the Wasp Pilot as well.
